- My big monthly Woolworths shop came to $544
-less my 10% discount ($54)
-less my RAC gift card discount ($20)
I ended up paying $470!!
It feels so good saving all that money $$$

Thank you for showing us your haul, with great savings. I'd like to address one of the rise hikes in Olive Oil the one I have been buying for a few years, Red Island 3 Litre Extra Virgin Olive Oil the recent price hike went from $45.00 to $60.00.
Hi Angela👋🏻 YES I agree Olive Oil has increased in price A LOT and we get through a fair bit in our household. Last month (my March haul) i managed to get Cobram Estate extra virgin olive oil 3L for $39 less my 14% discount so I only paid $33.50 -looking back I wish I picked up a couple! Will do that next time it’s on offer 👍🏻 we all have to be even more savvy shoppers these days☺️

OMG! The fruit yogurt pouches 😲 so adorable! Anything in a pouch like the little applesauces are also so good!
🩷🩷 I always buy the small pouches for my little ones because I find they never finish the bigger ones! The little ones have just the right amount for them😊 Yep we used to get apple sauce when they were really little👶🏻 Pouches are so handy when you are out n about - that’s why I buy them🥰

Hello, I loved your grocery haul and wish I could get some of the items you have here in America. I never had Kangaroo burgers, but sounds like they are tasty. You did get a lot of items and paid a good price too!
Hi Debra! Thankyou so much for commenting :) If you ever get the chance you must try a kangaroo burger, they're so tasty and a great choice of meat -very low in fat, high iron and high protein -all good stuff for growing kids :)

Thankyou so much!! Yes we are doing regular small top up shops as well -mainly at ALDI, I find they have the best fruit n veg😊
All combined we spend about AU$1,800 a month on groceries/coffee pods/cleaning products/nappies -it’s a LOT we can do better I’m sure!!

Thankyou! Well I have my house insurance with Woolworths and every month they give me 10% off a grocery shop of my choice, to get the most discount I do a BIG shop and use it then. You can also get the 10% discount if you have any other Woolies Insurance, Woolies Mobile plan OR you can pay $7 a month to join their Everyday Extra club which also gives you the discount. I generally don't like paying 'membership fees' but this one will save you money!!

Good question!! It’s more of a visual gauge on how full my shopping trolley is getting😁 I fill up my big Woolies cart and it always come to around the $530-$550 range - the discount is capped at $50 and I think I’ve always got the maximum amount every time. Let me know if you have any ideas on how to keep track whilst in the supermarket😊 (much easier when you’re doing an online shop😉)xx
Don't forget the $5.50 refund you'll get when you take the drink containers in to get your container deposit back, although I'm not sure if WA does it on all those drinks
Hi Helen :) Yes we do get the 10c for the drink containers here in WA too!! Quite a new thing for us over here but its becoming very popular - its great and a good way to get the kids involved in recycling too :) win win!! thankyou for commenting xx
@@MoneySmartMum we've had it in SA/NT for about 40 odd years, since last century lol. 1L glass coke bottles used to have 20c on them which as you could imagine was a lot! and a good way to get some extra pocket money
Oh wow really!! I didn’t realise these schemes had been around for so long! Growing up in the UK we didn’t have them and when my Dad came to visit at Easter I took him to the drive thru one & he thought it was excellent!!lol typical Dad😅
