    what I do not understand about these why have they got no ground Earth

      You don't need to ground it at the ATS. You ground at the generator and at the main panel, which runs a neutral line to your mains/service and is bonded to ground there.

      There are no such restrictions here. We will place a circuit breaker in front of the ATS to demonstrate the control of the front-end main power supply and backup power supply.
