I find the easiest way to do this super is on a victrix BFG pro octagon gate left analog stick. Secondly on the dpad on the controller. Finally on the arcade stick however needed an octagon gate mod. Its close to never worked for me using a square gate. I don't know why it's the hardest thing for me to do on a arcade stick while it's the easiest thing to do on a analog stick. I have 2 fighting sticks and both acted the same.
