- Scrap Mechanic's physics are weird sometimes... So I embraced them! With the power of this one physics exploit, we can harness infinite energy! Well, that was the plan at least...
Turns out trying to make a car move entirely through crouching is a lot more difficult than I expected. However, we managed to build something in the end that works well enough.
Try the crouch engine yourself: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...

For today's video, Dr Pixel will attempt to create a vehicle powered by teabags... I love Scrap Mechanic. XD
Something I thought of:
One simple glitch that many creations use is Clang, I call it that since that's the term used by Space Engineers players, who make clang engines.
I've always used spam-crouching to correct my boats when they get slightly offset
I dont think that croching doesnt have a effect.ı think mechanic farts when croching and it repels it
And here, at
i like how Pixel is casually trying to make this mechanic powered wheel and in the background you can see a bunch of people casually building other things that are not understandable for an average human being lmao
Impressive that you can extract energy out of sleeping rigidbodies, wow-
It was so much fun to build!
Engineering at its finest
should use frictionless vanilla pistons instead of friction to keep the "pistons" in place in your people powered "engine"
I'm at the intro and the physics are already broken
this would be the most efficient way to play scrap mechanic survival, if we didn't have a hammer lol. but funny video!

i did some stuff like this before
I also noticed this, but did not think it this through
Scrap Mechanic? This is Crouch Mechanic!
imagine building a car but the engine is just mechanics
I believe you needed a flywhell in the engine.
