First of all, Boston was just the better team. Period. That said, i'm with Stephen A that it did seem clear that Boston got in Kyrie's head. In his whole career, i've never seen Kyrie dribble a ball off his foot. Ever. And i saw it twice in that series. If his mentor Kobe were still here, i think he would have gotten some needed help, and Kyrie would perform a lot better in that series. No one fed off negative energy (especially overcoming negative energy from the Boston crowd) like Kobe imo...

No luka was the reason they made it to the finals , kyrie score 9 games under 20 points through out this play off run. Like everybody needs to stop giving kyrie a pass he is a 20 point scorer. He is no superstar , he is a third option been like that for these past few years
@@robertoosorio3115 the team responds better to kyrie. Look what happen in finals. Celtics kept kyrie from doing his thing, which threw off team rhythm. Luka gonna do Luka things. But team response better to kyrie. Luka rely on pick to much and should play more off ball. He has a nice post game. So I would let kyrie advance up court and put luka in post. But kyrie does more for that team than people are giving credit.
@617boston6 they did this years ago when he was with the nets and average 15 points during the okc series. You want to say he contributed okay than yes, but if you are saying the main reason it is crazy. Kyrie can not carry a team to a playoff game if he is the number 1 option. Kyrie is overhype , to say he is a superstar, it's shocking when he really just average 20 21 points if he plays 65 games and up

Boston got in his head? That's why most of the games kyrie was a no show? How about celtics defense? The celtics defense was incredible. And kyrie is an experience player, and has experience in finals, and an champion. For sure those kind of stuff doesn't really affect him. But the bostong celtics defense was impressived.
It's a little bit of both. The defense was great. But half of the reason the defense is so great on Kyrie is because they played and practiced with them, and know most of what his characteristics are on the court.
Kyrie knows that too, hence why Boston is in his head.
