Kabocha squash is so tasty and healthy. These are great tips, I always have a challenging time cutting kabocha squash. Like your tip for cutting out the stem.
Thanks Yoko for the wonderful demonstration!! :) I've been cutting my Kabocha the same as you since I learned your techniques in this video. It's a lot easier to cut the Kabocha squash the way you do it. Arigatogozaimasu!
Ohhh thank you so much for your comment!! I'm so glad! I love Kabocha squash so if I could help you enjoy Kabocha squash easier then before, I'm so happy. Douitashimasite!
Found these squash is in my grocery store for the first time tonight and I’m the kind of person that loves trying something I’ve never eaten before. Not the biggest fan of winter squash but if it tastes between a squash and a sweet potato, I bet it’s delicious. I’m on a low-carb diet so I need to look up some carb content of these, but your video was awesome and I subscribed so I could see more of your cooking videos because you’re so descriptive. Explaining how to cut and hold your knife were very informative. Plus I garden and I’m always looking for something new to grow so I’m saving the seeds!!!
Aww thank you so much!! I love trying new things too and hope you enjoyed your first kabocha squash experience💕 Also growing squash in your own garden would be lots of fun😆 I will make more video with lot of info! Hope you like them😊
Thank you for this excellent presentation. Kabocha is on the menu tonight. (It was hard to hear, though, because the music was drowning your voice out).

Ohhh I'm sorry to hear that😢 The key is using a sharp knife and being gentle when you cut. No hard pushing is needed to prevent any danger! But anyways microwave or instant pot is a great alternative method! Hope you enjoy cooking Kabocha squash💕

@@yokoskitchen maybe add subtitles so video can be watched with proper instructions for the hard-of-hearing and those who wish to turn down the volume.
Hmm not recommended to pry off the stem using the tip of the knife.. especially if you are using a Japanese knife that is made with harder steel as the tip will snap off.
What's with the music? In addition to being annoying, it's so loud I can't hear the narration. It's a shame because this looks like a very informative video but my nerves are shot by that awful music just one minute in.
Knowing how to do it properly makes things so much easier! Thank you, Yoko.

Loved your explanations but music too loud or a distraction. 😉
Ohhh no😭 I appreciate your feedback!
I can’t even watch the whole video cause the music is just too much....

Th background music is deafening
The music makes it hard to hear and concentrate on what you’re saying😅
The music is annoying but the tip is helpful.
Sorry about the music! Hope this makes your cooking a little bit easier😊
Why does this video start with the squash already cut?
Because it's an intro!
Music way too loud. I can’t understand what you’re saying.☹️
Thank you for bringing this to my attention! I'll adjust the music volume from next video😊

Ohh thank you for the feedback! I guess some knifes are not suitable for this🤔 I need to update this! Thanks!
Good video. However the music is too loud. Music isn’t really necessary and it is easier to concentrate without.
Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate it!
Sorry, music too loud for me to hear you speaking. :-(
Music way to loud I can’t hear or understand your comments…
Thank you so much for your feedback! I’ll be more mindful about it for my future videos!
Your music is overpowering your video, I only lasted 3 minutes on the video because I cannot hear what you are saying.
Thank you for letting me know! I'll work on making the music more subtle next time😭
the Music is sooooo annoying
Ohhh nooooooo😭😭😭
the music is louder than your speech, too loud can't hear what you're saying
😭😭😭
The music was so loud and annoying I had to stop watching.

Too dangerous with knife. I always wash then, put it in the microwave for about 3-4 minutes, then cut into it.
I agree that microwave making Kabocha softer and cut easier!
The music is so loud and not necessary.
Thank you so much for the feedback!!
