    Found these squash is in my grocery store for the first time tonight and I’m the kind of person that loves trying something I’ve never eaten before. Not the biggest fan of winter squash but if it tastes between a squash and a sweet potato, I bet it’s delicious. I’m on a low-carb diet so I need to look up some carb content of these, but your video was awesome and I subscribed so I could see more of your cooking videos because you’re so descriptive. Explaining how to cut and hold your knife were very informative. Plus I garden and I’m always looking for something new to grow so I’m saving the seeds!!!

    • @yokoskitchen
      @yokoskitchen  2 года назад

      Ohhh I'm sorry to hear that😢 The key is using a sharp knife and being gentle when you cut. No hard pushing is needed to prevent any danger! But anyways microwave or instant pot is a great alternative method! Hope you enjoy cooking Kabocha squash💕

    Hmm not recommended to pry off the stem using the tip of the knife.. especially if you are using a Japanese knife that is made with harder steel as the tip will snap off.
