I like the design you made for the vises and swing away grinders. Jason's squares are a fabricators must. I bought the 3 square kit from him years ago.
Spending money to more efficiently make money is a no-brainer. You do enough jobs that having the right tools to do them faster is probably justified. As a sporadic hobbyist, I'm willing to be less efficient to avoid spending money for tools that might only get used once a year. Some great ideas here, even for low-buck shop setups!

I recently purchased an Evolution saw (slightly different model) as well as the same OmniPro Vulcan welder. I agree with you on all counts - they’re both extremely good tools for their intended use, and I couldn’t be happier.

It would be interesting to mount the small anvil in the same way you have the vise -- a much better striking surface.
