Theres definitely a history of lord commanders being killed by their own nights watch brothers. I think what happened to Mormont in season 3 was foreshadowing this for sure. Jon slept on having so many enemies all around him and it cost his life. RIP the bastard of Winterfell

Yeah, what sucks here is the writting was on the wall, Jon just pulled a Rob and ignored all the signs. The only person at the end that makes sense there is Ollie. Also, I blame Sam for all of this. Sam bounced when he should have had Jon's back, also his little talk prompted Ollie to help in the killing, because he took the Man doing what he needed to do even though others think it's wrong was Allister. I don't know who told you Season 5 sucked...aside from the very end, it was great!
Arya is the bomb! Avenger #1 The atonement walk was the hardest thing for this actress as Cersei. OMG you gotta watch the next episode!!! Things aren't as they seem.
I totally understand your frustration with the ending, I said they same things too, but when you cool down from the initial shock, you will see that from the assissins perspective, killing Jon totally makes sense. In fact, they see it as their duty. People say "they re dumb, 'cause white walkers are coming and they killed their best leader". Well, very few people have actually seen the army of the dead even from Night's Watch itself, and almost all of them have died beyond the wall. So for them, white walkers are still a distant, vague threat. I m not saying they are right, but that's their point of view. The only enemy that they know for sure and have been fighting forever are the wildlings. All Night's watch members have lost friends and comrades, or even family like Olly, against the wildlings. So half of night's watch that "already hated Jon" as maester Aemon said a few episodes back, would for sure see Jon's decision to save them (sacrificing more of their brothers in the process) as treason. I know it seems stupid from our perspective as viewers, but that's what's so great about the writing of this show/books. The characters don't do what "it is expected" from a standard plot, they do what makes sense from their own pov, as a part of their world. The are REAL characters, not simple plot devices. Thats's why when a character we like does a stupid mistake, he/she pays for it. There is no plot armor. And I know you ll say "the show only kills the good guys and let the bad ones live" but that's not true. Joffrey was awful to everyone and died, Tywin underestimated his sons and died, Viserys threatened Daenerys and died, now Stannis burned his own daughter to take the throne and he also died. And believe me, more justice is coming down the road... keep it up, see you for season 6 ep 1 guys!

Jon getting killed was so big it was on the national news shows and talk shows the next day. People were outraged. The only thing I can tell you is to please don’t stop watching. Have faith. Daario was absolutely right though. As of now, Missandei is the only person Dany truly trusts. Jorah hasn't really regained her trust yet, Daario isn't exacty that trustworthy and Tyrion she only just met. Grey Worm is someone she trusts as the commander of the Unsullied but Missandei is the one who has been beside Dany every step of the way since Dany set her free. She's been her most trusted advisor ever since so it totally makes sense to let Missandei stay back and keep her in charge of Mereen until Dany is back. I don't think she'd want anyone else to take charge in her stead aside from Missandei and Grey Worm. It also makes sense that Daario and Jorah would go looking for Dany. Daario is a great tracker and Jorah is known for his great Swordsmanship. Who better than them to try and find her.
