I think you answered your own question in the last few minutes. Texas is the safe choice but also gives you the freedom to go on holiday to San Diego or Florida and have the financial stability to not stress and have another baby. Don’t be so harsh on yourself not many decisions in life are final. X
AGREEEEEEEEE 😊 Ellie you have most definitely answered your thoughts and questions. Houston doesn’t have to be a forever home. But it can be a place for you to settle into American life find your feet…. I think knowing people there is fantastic for you guys cos you will need the support and guidance at some point
I don’t usually comment on the vlogs but watched you guys for years and I’ve got to say Huston suits you sooo much more! Cali can be your summer holidays but Huston is home 🫶🏼
These housessssss! TEXAS. TEXAS. TEXAS. You can’t beat it. Plus financially, it’s less stress and you can just enjoy life a bit more comfortably. You can holiday so easily in Cali and it just seems so much better that way round to me. Xxx
Financial stress is a no no Elle it will just ruin your experience of being in the USA. Find some where dreamy in Houston & travel to some other places for a holiday. The money stresses I think should make you decide Elle - avoid them you do nit need the worry. You will find a grt house & make it a grt home - you are so good at that

@@christieodonnell7795 all the large cities in Texas are liberal, with that said there are surrounding areas that are conservative but usually not the crazy conservative you see on the news 😅 after all Texas has been more blue than red. I 100% think that Texas is the right choice... San Diego is beautiful but I feel as though there would be a pressure to keep up the good vibes and experiences, It very much felt like watching you Guys on a holiday. Texas... you instantly looked so calm and comfortable there, it just suits you so much more. With the Time pressures I would say go for a beautiful house there and get the dogs back with you and settle for a year or two. This will give you time to set up and look into all of the places people are suggesting and you can go on holidays to explore and get a feel for each area. The boys are still young, it's your life too, they won't remember having to move a couple of times at such a young age they will be thankful you put in so much effort to find the perfect place for them!
Elle❤ when you moved out to America, I was team San Diego, all the way but I genuinely think Houston would be much better for you and your family! You’d get so much more your money there, wouldn’t have to worry about financial stress as much, Connor can start his food tiktok fantasy haha and I just think it would be like home for you. Every time you talk about it, your face lights up, I think deep down it is what you really want. San Diego is beautiful, but you can still holiday to San Diego and it would keep the novelty high then!
I think Texas is the way to go, the houses are beautiful and it gives you the opportunity to travel to other parts of America and have another baby. If you’re stressed about thinking of the living situation in California now imagine what it will be like when you have the financial stress. Texas gives happy family vibes and it’s making me want to move there 😊
Allow yourself to feel what’s best. You already know. We can hear it in your voice. Surrender to it and you’ll be so happy and peaceful. Always best wishes for you and your family!
I honestly think when you have your chats, you answer your own question. Texts definitely ticks all the boxes, and you would be able to enjoy it and then holiday in San Diego and still get to enjoy everything that you dream of. There is no point pushing yourselves to your limits and being miserable. Also, remember, nothing is permanent, so if you make a decision and down the line it is not aligning with you, you can change. ❤
Hi Elle’s🩷 I’ve lived in Orange County which isn’t far from San Diego, my whole life. My love IT IS EXPENSIVE. I’ve known a lot of people that move to Texas and the first thing they say is the people are sooo much nicer and more kind. California, as beautiful as it is, can be a pretty nasty place especially for kids. I’m team Texas with vacations to California. I’m sorry you’re so stressed. You guys got this. I love you!!
Definitely feel swaying more towards Texas and holidays in San Diego. Like you say you can always move if need be after a year or so. Love how you are able to live out your dream xx
You know in your heart that texas is the place you can't tell by they way you talk about it. You never know in a years to you know you made the best decisions for your family and it was the best choice

Elle just started to follow as I am a mum too and nothing is worst than the stress of financial worries! Your vlogs are not boring you are showing real life stuff and that’s all I’m here for! Also I never been in America and listening to your experience is amazing! Texas sounds like a much better and relaxing option for you and just remember you’re young and in 5 years time you might be a in a better position of having your dream home in California or maybe you actually change your mind entirely and just want to stay in Texas. Texas sounds amazing anyway so just go for it! You’re living the American dream anyway and not everyone would have the guts to do what you did. I moved from Portugal to the UK 11 years ago and moved around a bit until I found a lovely area to live and settle but you know I don’t know what’s life going to be in 10 years time so enjoy your life there and be happy with your beautiful family ❤sending you lots of love and thank you for all the knowledge you’re sharing about moving to the US and house hunting and everything xx🎉❤
Northern California born & raised! Bought a house June 2023 & I feel the pressure of raising a family and surviving! So I feel you! Y’all will make the right choice… and you always move!!!!
I think you answered you own question! Texas! Still an incredible life! And like you say you can always change your mind in a year! Go for the safe option it’s not set in stone forever! Xxxxxx
Like so many people have said, I was totally Team California and I still think this would offer a lovely lifestyle for the beach but not financially. California will make an amazing holiday and Texas seems a great option for you all to live. I think your final point about doing a year in Texas and then reviewing it is the perfect plan. As my mum has always said to me, nothing is ever irreversible x
I think there’s a lot to be said for family friends too, it’ll be nice having those connections and the social life, plus they will likely to introduce you to more friends etc 😊
i know that no one in the comments is gonna makw the decision for you, but i honestly feel like houston is the one for you. i feel like you could live an INCREDIBLE life in texas, and in comparison the life in cali would be somewhat lesser cause of the high costs, rent, food etc yknow? think about the community life and all the little friends saint could have in texas. its two totally different lives but texas just looks so more homey? cali is an amazing place to vacation 🤍
Thanks for sharing the rawness and honesty of how you feel as well as the sunny highlights… you will make the best decision no matter what and have such an incredible life in America 💕

I was team Cali girl on your insta story however since watching this vlog I truly feel like Texas would be the better suited option for you right now! You can go to Cali for holidays etc, settling in Texas now doesn't mean you are there for ever. We emigrated to Australia from Manchester UK 18 years ago. I can still remember how overwhelming it is when you first arrive! There are soooo many decisions to make, but as someone else said, not many decisions are final! If I could give you any advice it would be ‘go with your gut!’ Deep down you know what is right for you - right now! We have moved quite a few times in the last 18 years & have finally settled by the beach! 👍🏻 You are still young & your situation will change as the kiddos get older & you do, your needs will change! Whatever you do won’t be the wrong decision! Have faith in yourself 👍🏻😘❤️
I have travelled the world as an air stewardess and I have always loved Texas and Houston laid back relaxed way of life. Beaches are lovely but there are also some very dangerous areas in San Diego unfortunately now x
I am living for these American vlogs! And the honesty your having with your audience about the reality of real life and not the 'perfect image' everyone else trys to portray online ❤️❤️❤️
I can totally see the turmoil you feel in with decision making. Just wanted to reach into the screen and give you a massive hug🤗 I know its not the same, but I remember the pressure I felt last year when deciding which uni to go to and it wasn't easy but almost a year on and I can say with my hand on my heart I made the right decision. The right decision will be made with you all❤Thank you for keeping it real and showing this side to moving your life to another country. I think listening to your pros and cons Houston wins especially for the first year or two, get your fur babies over decide on if you do want another baby and when, and get established rather than over stress and living at top of your budget you have many years in front of you to move to another state 😊
Loving these vlogs! Definitely go with your easier decision with no stress. Texas is your home and then you can explore all the rest of the world with the additional cash x
Agree stay settled for a year, build up the credit like we are doing hun, and explore via vaca’s 😊 sounds perfect 😍 your talking yourself into a great source of options and decisions 😊 do what makes you happy and take each day as it comes!
Personally i feel like your heart and soul truely knows TEXAS is the place to be for the foreseeable future ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love your beautiful family, sending all the love and best wishes ❤️
Hi Ellie & Con , Houston is definitely for you . The boys are beautiful 🤩 and Saint is so well mannered for a little one. Wishing you all the luck world with you house journey .
A father playing with his sons on the grass is the bees knees. Just beautiful. Those beautiful boys are very lucky to have lovely, fully engaged parents. Well done. Oh, Houston gets my vote. Good luck. Xx ❤
I feel like this was the most relatable vlog I’ve ever watched you do. Loved the brain dump, felt like you were actually in front of me talking. Please keep this vibe! It’s so real, youll be broke in California babe , Pick Texas ! Grow your business and move to California one day ❤
LOVING the America content!!! I think you answered your own question in the last clip of this video. You can still travel and see some amazing places whilst living in Texas 🫶🏼 can’t wait to see where you end up!
Also, adding on from my previous comment, consider where would be easier for you to re-take your driving test. That’s an important factor. Your real chat was insightful and I’m definitely team Houston, you said SD has the dream lifestyle, but you can create that for yourself in Texas without having the massive financial stress! You kept going back to Houston when listing pros and cons, to me the answer is staring you straight in the face & your answered your own question! Those houses are stunning and the gated communities sound perfect for you and your family❤ good luck with the decision!
As someone that has never lived in California, her whole life and just moved here around six years ago from Oregon. it is so expensive to live out here. It is insane. I think you explaining it the way that you did by sucking the fun out of the experience because you guys will be working so extremely hard to have the life that you want without being stressed out due to money and bills.. I can’t wait to see where you guys decide but I think that is way better option I think that’s why everybody is moving there from California.
Living in Houston seems to make the most sense for you guys as a family right now. ❤ Its such a hard decision and there’s no right or wrong answer. But taking this pressure off yourselves and trying to settle down is really important, especially as you guys have moved around so much lately, its a lot on you all. If youre renting for the forseeable, San Diego doesn’t need to be a never and the US itself offers so much chance for exploration. You still have so much time and future yous ahead, things will always be changing. ❤
I think Houston is the place!! San Diego you can go on holiday for. The novelty won’t run out then, once you’ve found a house in Houston, I can guarantee the stress will go. You’re feeling all these emotions because you’re scared of the unknown which is completely normal. You’re smashing it honestly. One you’re settled and you and the boys have a routine, you will be great!!😅 Loving these videos by the way, so heavily invested ❤️❤️
Yes you had the spark in California, but in Texas I feel you are more level headed and actually thinking about the future here … I’m team TEXAS those houses are gorgeous and the fact it’s safer and more family friendly xx
You will know what to do believe in that inner voice , and listen to what it’s telling you your brave and strong , and the best mummy lots of big hugs xxx ❤
I just happen to see your video today and watching at the moment. I was born in San Antonio Texas and have lived in Texarkana Texas. Texas is a beautiful state and many other nice places to live in Texas. Good luck to you and your family and welcome to America.
I also think that often a living location isnt really a choice... The majority of us live where we were born or close by or we move to be closer to family. You have total freedom and you can totally live your best lives in Texas... Weather, space, financial stability and even that USA experience like Autumn and Christmas but also being able to afford all the decor but also have the space! ... It ticks them all ❤❤❤
You might not see this, but even in the stress yall seem more comfortable in texas, or even in a place that would be similar. Like you said at the end, yall can always move in a year or so and check out other places. I’m from north Carolina and it is absolutely beautiful, the beaches as well as the rest, some of my family is near Charleston, South carolina and it’s beautiful as well and they both have that home vibe where it’s quiet but not too quiet and it just feels safe!! I know yall will end up making the right decision for yourselves, and I wish yall all the best luck🩷
Love how Elle keeps talking about the time zone and being in the loop because now they are closer to UK time as if they are the only ones watching there videos and then there is me in Canada watching and laughing because I have always been out of the loop because of time zones thinking I would love to be able to move to the UK and yet they seemed like they couldn't wait to leave the UK 😂
Elle you’ve got so much on your mind hun. I know in my heart you’ll pick the best place to live and make changes as time allows. Love you and family……..❤
Love these vlogs & updates of your amazing new journey. Your family is so sweet. I agree with others saying Cali is more holiday vibes & Houston sounds like the perfect base. Don’t stress yourself too much, you will make the right decision. Happy for you guys x
it sounds like you have made your own mind up anyway and Houston sounds like the best bet for you and your family. I think you answered your own question in the last few minutes. Texas is the safe choice but also gives you the freedom to go on holiday to San Diego or Florida and have the financial stability to not stress and have another baby. Don’t be so harsh on yourself not many decisions in life are final. X
Y’all should check out Tampa or the Atlantic coast of Florida- it’s beachy and less suburban like SD, but also has the shopping/amenities of Texas. Housing prices aren’t as expensive as California but not as much “house” for your money as Texas. It’s a happy medium !
I’m British… living in South Carolina. Come visit here!! You’d really love it. Beaches and beautiful houses. We have two little ones too, but after 7 years we’re actually moving back to the Uk,this spring, it’s just time. But from living here 7 years and really getting to know America….. 100% go with Texas… for now!! Good luck!!!!.. xx
You said it perfectly…you can take this year to build up your credit and get settled in TX - explore, travel. Then next year you can make the final decision🤍🤍🤍
Hi Elle! Please please, just relax for a minute. Take stock, gather your thoughts. You seem really happy where you are for the time being. School is way off so you have time. I’ve heard wonderful things about Houston and Texas in general. But keep researching. Another beautiful pace is North Carolina 👍🏻 much love xxx
I don’t usually comment on your videos I’m a silent viewer, but have to say after watching the first half of this video I agree with you and others Houston is the way to go 😊
As someone who lives in San Diego, move to Houston! California is so expensive and there are so many other amazing places in the US and you can always explore more once you've found your spot.
Elle, I am 100% team Houston, my dad and his side of my family live out there, in the woodlands! My favourite thing is going over and visiting them 😍🙌🏽✨ such a lovely area, they love living out there! ✨ I also have family living in Miami which is also extremely lovely!😍Xxxx
I dont usually comment but I really wouldn't put yourself through any financial stress. You're living the American dream either way and you'll always make the most of wherever you are!
I feel Houston is yes definitely for you guys ❤ , as others say you can go to Cali for holiday both is lovely but just watching your vlogs and story’s I definitely feel Houston is the one 🫶🏽x
This is so extremely exciting! I have not watched you in years but I am so staying tuned now with all the "new life" vlogs :) Essentially living thru you 😂 We ve never been to America however we often talk about moving to Italy and it is so nice to follow someone on their journey fulfilling their dreams :)
What about moving to Texas and later on purchasing a small property in cali that you can rent out on air bnb but then stay in it yourself a few times a year ? ☀️ best of luck!
Hi Ellie , only recently found your account but loving it. I first moved to Ny, then Miami and now I’m in dallas which i love. SD is great but CA is soooo expensive. TX is bang in the middle, get ready for hot ass summers but the rest is great. You’ll figure out what’s best for you guys and I know it really is a lot. Stay happy and it will fall into place xx
Elle you just said it perfectly, just because you take a decision now that is best for you family is not a decision made for forever! Life can change in a year or two, & with a 3rd baby. California is not going anywhere in 1-2 or even 3 years. You then have fully established there, you can always visit CA and slowly look for houses by the beach!! Don't be so hard on yourself, you are doing AMAZING!! Texas is an amazing start into the American Lifestyle, the houses are so beautiful & also with taxes and other business you want to create. Imaging you wanting to go live in Florida maybe in the future? You never ever know 🙂
I just found your channel and am enjoying watching the different areas you are looking at.....I have lived in Southern California all my life, I raised my two adult children here and now have 4 granddaughters, it is very expensive to live here but San Diego is one of the most expensive places to live, anything at the beach is very high, I have always wanted to live at the beach but cannot afford it.....I have never been to Texas but it looks really nice and I know alot of people from Calif. have moved there and love it......I will keep watching your journey, your boys are so adorable ❤
Set up base in texas, stunning home, have your 3rd baba, settle the doggos and catch a flight whenever you fancy a cali trip ❤ nothing worse than financial stress!!
I think you answered your own question in the last few minutes. I agree it's the best of both worlds
I agree with this, texas to me sounds like the obvious choice. She's putting way too much pressure on herself x
1000% agree with this!!

Personally i feel like your heart and soul truely knows TEXAS is the place to be for the foreseeable future ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love your beautiful family, sending all the love and best wishes ❤️
Im just loving all these vlogs!! So interesting seeing everything in the US you seem so happy ❤️
Hi Ellie & Con , Houston is definitely for you . The boys are beautiful 🤩 and Saint is so well mannered for a little one. Wishing you all the luck world with you house journey .
Texas! No one needs financial stress. You’ve already put your points forward and Texas for the win! Can’t wait for more updates ❤
Loving theses vlogs so much!! I feel like Houston is the place for you guys!! ❤
Texas to lay the foundations then expand elsewhere / move once your not under so much pressure ❤
Grow your business and move to California one day ❤
Love watching this journey with y’all💕
LOVING the America content!!!
You guys are such wonderful parents honestly and saints speech and both of your children are just so lovely.
Those houses! STUNNING!🫶🏼
Texas it makes sense. Start there and move on when you’re ready.
Even Houston is beautiful in areas. Th trees are gorgeous north and south ❤but yes the hill country is beautiful and west Texas and the mountains.
Love following ur journey and seeing u all live out ur dreams 😚 xx
the houses there are just another level!
100% Texas & holidays to California 🤍🫶🏽
So happy for you guys right now & jealous at the same time. Lots of luck in Texas xx
Elle, i support you what ever you decide to do. Sending love and hugs 🫂 ❤
I feel you made you decision whilst talking to us Elly … Texas and be comfortable but still live a lovely life ❤
I’m praying for you guys. The homes you shared are beautiful. ❤
Texas looks a better choice to me. The houses look amazing there 🥰
I’m sooooo excited to be watching your exciting journey xx
I feel Texas is probably the better option when you have children and pets
I am so happy you and Connor are living your dream life 💕
I don’t usually comment on your videos I’m a silent viewer, but have to say after watching the first half of this video I agree with you and others Houston is the way to go 😊
As someone who lives in San Diego, move to Houston! California is so expensive and there are so many other amazing places in the US and you can always explore more once you've found your spot.
Texas is on fire in the summer a pool is a must
Elle, I am 100% team Houston, my dad and his side of my family live out there, in the woodlands!
If y’all do choose Houston- The Woodlands is an amazing place to live.
This is so extremely exciting! I have not watched you in years but I am so staying tuned now with all the "new life" vlogs :) Essentially living thru you 😂 We ve never been to America however we often talk about moving to Italy and it is so nice to follow someone on their journey fulfilling their dreams :)
Sounds to me you’ve made your mind up
Hello Texas 🎉❤ listening to your pros and cons seriously Texas hun xxxx
What about moving to Texas and later on purchasing a small property in cali that you can rent out on air bnb but then stay in it yourself a few times a year ? ☀️ best of luck!
Hi Ellie , only recently found your account but loving it. I first moved to Ny, then Miami and now I’m in dallas which i love. SD is great but CA is soooo expensive. TX is bang in the middle, get ready for hot ass summers but the rest is great. You’ll figure out what’s best for you guys and I know it really is a lot. Stay happy and it will fall into
place xx
What fun..those houses are stunning
Set up base in texas, stunning home, have your 3rd baba, settle the doggos and catch a flight whenever you fancy a cali trip ❤ nothing worse than financial stress!!
