I recently purchased the Low profile Hard Tri-fold cover for a Tacoma which surprised me that they made this cover for a Toyota considering Quadratec is more of a Jeep brand but I am so glad they do. Had it installed in less than an hour and it works perfect. Nothing about this cover feels cheap. It looks great, fits great and opens with ease. Only thing I can't say yet is how rainproof it is since it hasn't rained since I installed it but with all the water drains, I expect it to do well. I have had just about every type of bed cover on my trucks throughout the years including soft roll up, soft tri folds, hard tri folds, one piece fiberglass, roll n lock retractable, peragon folding and even undercover one piece and I can say that out of all of them, looks and use wise, this is my favorite. Some people will point out that fully folded you only have 2/3 bed access but this is a non issue for me as I use a trailer to haul larger items. 2/3 access is still about equal to what you would have if you had a toolbox on your truck. I 100% recommend this cover.
would like to see a t-slot provisions for the trifold low profile hard cover. There are plenty of cross bars that have quick release bases that can be popped off to not block the trifold.
I’ve seen several reviews that the hard folding doesn’t work with out the trail rails. If you want to sell more of them you need a video installing it with the rails. I would have already ordered one with video proof it would work.
is the trifold secure with the two clips in the front? seems like there should be safety straps? Don't see any on mine. other wise, this is a great product.
Please make a video of the installation of the Tactik Low Profile Cover for a Gladiator without the factory track system. The instructions supplied do not work. The clamps in the instruction pictures are not the same as the clamps supplied in the kit.

Hey Rob you forgot to mention that adding a tonneau cover reduces drag so you will slightly increase your MPG.
Eh, that's a pretty highly debated point. Mythbusters did several episodes on it, and it's really not as clear cut as you'd think.

Which part number were you asking about?
Quadratec Part #: 12074-1100
the 12074-1100 will work with or without the trail rail. Parts are included for both.
@Quadratec What bed and tailgate mat is that?
Do any of this work with the lost canyon full height bed rack?

So, Rob mentioned something in the SEMA video about Lost Canyon racks that work with tonneau covers... Any info to come on those? :)
Yes! The Lock & Roll and the Low Profile Hard Tri-Fold covers will be compatible with the upcoming Lost Canyon Gladiator Bed Racks. Stay tuned...
do the tri folds have to have a the rail trail system for it?
they do not need it, you can install without the trail rail.
Where are they made?
These tonneau covers are precision manufactured in China.
What is the benifit of this?
It’s just to cover the bed, nothing else
