  • SUHHH!
Yomiuriland is located just outside of Tokyo, Japan and it was the first park the Coaster Idiots visited on the Japan Trip! I was blown away by this park (mainly by its appearance) and honestly did not expect it to by so nice! The Winter/Christmas decorations the park put up look absolutely stunning and it is the most impressive looking park during a Winter Event that I have personally seen thus far!
This video also contains a lot of other shenanigans from the day. We visited several parts of Tokyo both during the day and nighttime. We spent in the night in Shibuya with 6ix9ine! I hope you enjoy the video!
Be on the lookout for Coaster Idiots from the following parks:
    Universal Studios Japan
    Nagashima Spa Land
Tokyo Disney Sea (might not be a Coaster Idiot episode but a park footage montage, that park is TOO gorgeous)
    Tobu Zoo
    Fuji-Q Highland

I’m at the point in my life where I have to figure out what I want to do. I’m not set on going to college yet. If I don’t go to college, I will probably try to become a ride-op. I have a few questions for you if you don’t mind:
1: can you make a living off being a ride op? (I know cedar point gives housing, but it’s not open year round.)
2: do you plan to do this as your career, or a temporary job?
3: do you have any regrets on being a ride-op?
4: what’s your favorite and least favorite part of the jobs?
5: where should I work? Six flags mm is year round, but I don’t know if it has housing. Cedar point offers housing, but isn’t all year.
6: do you enjoy working at six flags or cedar point more?
If any of these are too personal, don’t answer, sorry to bombard you with questions! You’re a great youtuber, keep it up!!!

No worries man, ask away! You can definitely get by with being a ride op. Especially in cheaper areas of the country like Ohio or Florida. I wouldn't recommend it in more expensive areas of the country like New York or California if you need to pay the bills as well. Certain parks pay more so be on the lookout for that.
I'm not a ride operator full time actually, I used to be back in college but I'm actually an engineer in the real world. Right now, it's basically a fun job for myself to fall back to and I absolutely love being a ride op!!
I have no regrets about being a ride op. I was a ride op all through college and had some of the funnest times working at Great Adventure for nearly 4 years and Cedar Point for 5 weeks lol
If you're looking to work year round and also afford a place to stay, I'd recommend heading down to the Florida parks and getting a place with people to split the rent. Universal and Disney are both offering wage hikes at the moment and they're working their way up to $15 an hour by 2021 so that might be worth checking out for you. And there is always the opportunity to work hard, climb the ladder and work your way up to a manager position as well that pays more. Cedar Point has cheap housing for employees that you can stay in year round but the drawbacks are you only work Cedar Point half the year, then I believe you have to work at Castaway Bay during the offseason.... and housing really isn't great.
Great Adventure and Cedar Point both have their perks. If you're looking to be the best possible ride operator with the best possible ride crews, work at Cedar Point. If you're looking for a more relaxed work environment that's a little bit more on the ratchet/funnier side, I'd go with Great Adventure. And the people who work at both parks are both fun, funny and entertaining. (Keep in mind tho that Great Adventure only really provides housing for international employees tho, housing is open for EVERYONE at Cedar Point!)

Okay, thank you soooooo much. I forgot to ask if you could work your way up to a manager, but you answered that too! Thanks again! Keep up the good work, congrats on 1,000!!!
