Flick attacks are extremely fast, accurate and difficult to defend against, this lesson demonstrates the basic parrying and riposting using a flick to deliver the scoring point.

Personally I never flick on shoulder. If you have to dive that deep, you should just lunge for more precision. I always aim my flicks between wrist and elbow for some harrasment. Personal preference I guess. Maybe in foil you can flick that deep since you dont have to worry about your own arm getting hit in the process.
