Enna's point about the 4th floor was interesting, because to the best of my knowledge, this game was made by Asian developers, who I would have assumed knew that.

i like how you hit this threshold of fear that you are just terrified constantly and individual events and scares no longer affect you. it's like you've achieved some sort of terror nirvana. and ironically it ends up helping you, because you just sprint through the rest of the game like a terrified mouse just looking for the exit of your hell maze without stopping for anything.
