Jesus said to St. Faustina, “It is I waiting for you in the confessional.” During our cloistered pandemic years, I started using this sacrament weekly… imagine… Jesus waiting for me in the confessional!!! 50 years of pain, trauma, loss, rejection, abandonment… piece by piece, I hand over my shattered heart, a teaspoon of dust at a time and I ask Jesus to replace that broken piece with His Sacred Heart.
