- Join us for a sneak peek first look INSIDE the brand new DreamWorks Land at Universal Studios Florida! We check out this inside look and enjoy the brand new attractions featuring Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Trolls and more, and also try new food, like the Shrektzel, and see an amazing new show! We meet Shrek and Donkey at Shrek's Swamp Meet, train with the Dragon Warrior at Po LIVE! Kung Fu Panda, ride the Trolls TrollerCoaster, see the BRAND NEW SHOW DreamWorks Imagination Celebration featuring amazing new puppets of Donkey and Dragon, an incredible Po, Poppy and Branch, Shrek and lots more favorite DreamWorks characters in a show about imagination, featuring a great, all original story, and fun music and effects! This is still a technical rehearsal and I want to thank Universal Orlando Resort so much for inviting us to experience this sneak peek preview event! I've been covering the construction of this land for so long, it was amazing to be inside, sing, dance, do some Kung Fu, eat, and enjoy, and share it with you! I will continue to bring you updates as we move closer to opening so stay tuned and stay enthused!

That guy doing the voice and mo cap for Poe absolutely nailed it! He sounded so much like Jack it was impressive. Brought a massive smile to my face

The show is too 'young' for me personally, but I absolutely appreciate that they've added something back in for young kids, who are undoubtedly going to love this. The 'live' Po performance was the most impressive to me; the live mocap is spot on, and very much an improvement over the tech used in Turtle Talk.
Totally agree it’s an improvement over turtle talk! Like the next generation of that. And it was soooo funny and fun.

Nope! It’s an actual person behind the, I’m assuming it’s a mo-cap suit, but he moves like Po! That’s the charm of a great character interaction! I so cannot wait to experience it!

The donkey interactions will be legendary
that whole Po thing is amazing, as a voice actor, i would love todo something like that one day, that's so direct and interactive, i feel like the future of parks are going to have a lot more of this type of thing. the way animatronics are advancing so quickly, and ai is getting insane, we may have what is essentially real life pokemon walking around theme parks some day.

That Po training show looks fun for the kiddos and sounds really close to Jack Black. I wouldn't be surprised if he did a cameo appearance at some point. Po meeting Jack would be so cute. Anyway thank you for showing the new area. It looks fun
The show at the end used to be Barney! I kinda think the old show there was a bit better, but kids nowadays dont really know barney so it makes total sense for the refresh. All in all the area seems pretty high tech and im sure the kiddos will love it!
They did so much more with this land than we were anticipating! Everything looks great and _so_ well-themed! So many little touches that really make the experience more magical. Donkey teaching us new words this morning…and love love _love_ the puppets in the stage show! Yaaaaas Rachel Platten haha we agree with Sam that Po teaching you how to throw your chi was definitely the highlight of the day, though! Also enough about the “Trollercoaster” has changed that we can definitely consider that a new credit. 😉 Can’t wait to see how Shrek’s swamp turns out, Universal has some of the best play areas in the game! Thanks so much for sharing this sneak peek with us! ✨

Those Donkey and Dragon puppets look terrific. Beautifully detailed and articulate. But wait till you see the puppets in the How to Train Your Dragon show at Epic Universe👀

Looks like a cool new area. I remember when the water area was Curious George and the roller coaster was Woody Woodpecker, with the Fievel play area next to it. One trip many many years ago, we put on our ponchos, took off our socks and shes and had a blast getting wet. Of course our clothes stayed dry with our ponchos on. Good times. I love the new E T entrance.

Seems pretty nice but give how aware universal is of the criticism of screen-based attractions, it feels like the Po Kung fu show needs to be an animatronic like the donkey one, with preprogrammed animations controlled by an actor.

This is going to be such a fun area. I love your excitement when you interact with Characters, it is so fun and funny!! LOVE IT!! My family (that doesn't have passes) and I will be in St. Augustine from 19 -24. I'm escaping on the 21st to come to the park, alone. Just my luck - registration is on 21st with opening on the 24th the day we leave to go back home. The drones at Disney Springs are starting on the 24th also. Oh well, time to plan next trip. Whoop Whoop

They closed the universal down in Australia where we had Shrek kung fu panda and Madagascar. It's sad to see they closed it down and now moved it to Florida in America but I live what they have done.
