I couldn't believe that they were just sitting there together and no one had grabbed them, but then I realized that Goodwill had just restocked their shelves... Let's go thrifting and find out what they are!

Its mid morning on a Saturday and Miley and I are doing an experiment at my favorite Goodwill. We are shopping at peak hours to see if there are still treasures to be found. We have my Thrifting Vegas Blanket and my reuseable shopping bags and as we arrived they were just wheeling away empty carts and the shelves were restocked with new treasures! Thrift with me and learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. Stay to watch my haul where I show you everything I found, what I paid and what I expect to get for it. Yes, my Mom and I shop together and we love putting “like items” by each other. We feel it increases their chance of getting sold. 🥰
It doesn't spoil it at all when you put things together. It's a really thoughtful thing to do. 😊
I really like when you are putting matching items together. I also do it 😊 I also really like it when you're bringing out items from your inventory, I think it's great you're slowly collecting similar items. It definitely increases their chance to be seen, loved and bought by your viewers ❤
I absolutely love when you put things together, some people aren't searching for collections or mates and such but if they see a collection or like things together their brain clicks and says all I can use that so I think it's more helpful. I also think it helps sales of those items this lesson the landfill also, as a big-box retail manager of 30 years, now retired I can tell you that I appreciate when people help return things to their proper place or do little touches like that because there's more that don't and make messes . It also has a reciprocal effect and keeps prices down because things are selling through and less maintenance is needed on the store though not as many man hours are needed to clean up. Don't stop you're wonderful and it helps❤❤❤
I love your videos and your taste in picking great items. And i definitely don't think you are spoiling shopping for anyone when you put matching items together. I believe there are more people appreciating that than being disappointed.
It tweaks my brain when books are miles apart on the shelves. I don’t even charge them for my gathering the sets and putting them in order. It’s just all part of the service I provide on my shopping trips.
On a recent out-of-town trip, I spent a couple of hours in the book section. I was looking up books and also putting them in order according to the labels on the shelves.
When I got to the cash register, they gave me the volunteer discount for my service.😊
I used to sell books for a living, and I find myself merchandising them as well 😀
BTW the white buffalo on the native American vase is the most sacred animal to all indigenous peoples. I vote for putting matching pieces together. It's what I would do.

I don't think it ruins the fun if you put items back with their groups... because there's always more groups to be reunited! Not once have I ever been to a thrift store and not seen groupings split up, needing to be reunited. Endless supply of "fun" 😂
If it "ruins their fun" they could always spread them out again! Especially at Halloween time to prank. Have to wonder what it is that entertains some people! Lol!

PLEASE match items on shelves! One thing most people don't know about Vegas, BIG populations of senior citizens and wealthy people, when they cross over, their children are very selective of what they want to keep and donate the rest. I think that's why our Goodwill are more filled

You are fortunate to have Goodwills like you shop at. I live in Upstate SC and we have many Goodwills but they cherry-pick all of the good stuff to sell online. I have been a reseller for 30+ years at antique malls, flea markets, inside permanent flea market spaces, Ebay and FB Market place and was a retail buyer for 40 years and it gets harder every day to find things to resell. You buy some things I would never be able to sell and leave some things that I would buy. I never buy damaged merchandise but have learned some good stuff watching you. You are my favorite LV RUclipsr. Keep up the good work.
I think putting things together is nice and very considerate of you. It shows what a warm personality you have.
I like things together. I do put things together. One day when had time I organized there whole glass and mug section and for the next few weeks they tried to keep it that way. It was a small goodwill.

Hi Tiffany, I love your shopping trips! Your voice is so calming. Thank you for taking me with you. The Navajo vases go beautifully together! I hope they find a home together. I found a scratched bundt pan at Goodwill but I don't care that it is scratched. I want to learn to make tamales. They need to be steamed, standing up in a deep pot. I'm going to put a rack in the bottom of a soup pot, put the bundt pan in and stand the tamales inside. I hope it works! Oh, I think it is lovely that you put friends together on the shelves. It is so thoughtful of you. I chuckle with you when you do it.

Always check the inside of tins- sometimes they are rusted out if they were closed in humid weather.

I would definitely put matching items back together, because that allows for an even bigger “good treasure find!”
When you find like items and put them together it’s a great way to keep a set of things that should always be together from getting separated and going to different places or in worst case scenario is the landfill

Love the cats! Congrats on finding the Sand Piper wall hanging sculpture. Beach themed decore sells well for me. My guest bathroom is beach themed and I get many compliments about it.
It definitely does not spoil the fun when you put things together for us to find, I am glad you do that for us cause we might not know how to put things together and we might miss something while shopping.

I put things together. It's fun to find a second piece but it's even more fun to find a pair right off the bat. Someone will love that 3 legged Siamese kitty...I used to have Three Limb Chin, she lived to be 18 years old! 💝

I thrift with my 10 yo son. He loves it and has a good eye. He also will make sure like items get "back with their friends". One employee joked that they needed to hire him for "matchey matching".

I do organize like items, matching sets because I know things are more likely to sell that way. Many don't have the time or patience I noticed. So if I do have time, I'm like "ok this and this go together. Maybe someone will enjoy them!"
Yes! I have collected an entire set of Rachel Ray 16 piece set over the course of a year! A plate here, 2 mugs there, etc. I love finding missing pieces!

Sometimes I think I spend more time “organizing” their shelves than shopping, yes, I love to see things together - otherwise they might be missed.
I always put the lake items together and I appreciate it when I find like items together because there have been times that I would’ve bought some thing if there was more than one of them only to find out that there was but I missed it. I can still enjoy the hunt and I always look through everything but when there is two or three or four or something altogether it is so much better than finding one and then realizing you left the others behind so keep up the good work. It always makes me feel like I’ve done a good deed. Ha ha. As always I love your channel and I have learned so much. I have picked up things and sold things because of what I have learned by watching you and it has been very helpful to have the little bit of extra income for fun family extras.😊

I hate it when something says 2/ for or 3/ for and a piece is missing. The only problem with leaving pieces to be found is someone will buy one and not knowing or caring leave the other.
