Its 6am on Sunday morning and Miley and I are meeting our friend Sonny @SonnyLasVegas at the Broadacres Swapmeet here in Las Vegas. Not very many booths were open when we arrived, but one by one vendors opened up and treasures were found. Watch us fill Sonny's wagon as you thrift with me and learn what to bolo and what to leave on the tables, and why. Great fun video. Good to see you and Sonny and Miley out and about. There are many negative people who will make comments that really aren't necessary. I never stopped watching the original group of resellers because it's none of my business what disagreements they had. It's not my path or my life so I will always watch who I enjoy learning from. Each reseller has taught me so much about so many different areas and that's whats important.

It is enjoyable to watch You and Sonny for a few reasons, one of which is You are both calm and interact in such a friendly way. Fun with Miley too.
During the Summer, I'd suggest you stick to the AC of the Goodwill. Bargains galore at the Swapmeet for sure...But is it worth heat stroke? Nahhh So good to see Sonny again. I've missed his happy face. So glad you two are still Buds. He's a good guy, with a huge heart, for sure. Cathleen

I cant believe you passed up that piece of jewlery at the beginning of that lovely kitty for your cat sale...love every thing you got..as to that court jester demon head, I think it goes on a top of , like a marching stick/BATTON, for CARNAVAL...MARDI GRASS ??? I love you go all places, but I personally could not do what you just did, the heat gets to me too quickly. You might want to make sure the cats are accurate measurements. I bought adorable chicken measuring spoons. I used them. My yeast bread was a flop. The spoons are WAY off!

The glass owl you bought in the heat, the frosted base and clear owl is made in Sweden by Reijmyre glass, so you were right. I’ll try to explain how it is pronounced. Reij sounds like a ray of sun. My is close to me and re as red without the d.

YES I think when it's gets cooler you should definitely go back! I think there will be more vendors and items because, most buy storage units and during the heat it's hard for even the vendors to get out and get there inventory to sell. I say give it another go when the weather gets just a little cooler 😊 I bet there will be more wonderful vintage items cleared out from them for some wonderful prices😊 🙏

The hinged metal thing you looked up wasn't a fishing sinker mold, it was for making your own arrow head points by pouring hot metal. Same kind of mold you looked up, but if you had taken the pic with it open it would have identified it properly. Cool find in the wild though. Also the blue triangle shaped covered dish you found right after, I remember we had one when I was a child but in the amber color. Also had a covered dish in amber shaped like an acorn that I believe had the same or similar pattern on it. My father, like you, loved the earth tones so he choo browns and reds.
