For delayed mode, when does it start to pour water? If i set delay to 12 hours, i’d expect the water to be poured when it is about to start to cook, not right after i click the delay button.

I always rinse my rice until it the water turns clear. Does the machine rinse rice? what happens if I rinse it and put it in the machine? wouldn’t it believe it has more rice than it does because it’ll be wet and weigh more? Can we add seasoning to it?

Yes....there is a rinse option and does take into account for the weight. Just don't rinse and set for delayed timer. I tried with with some steel cut oats and it turned out like mush. I set timer for 8 hour so it was cooking while I was getting ready for work. Just get it dry and ready and start when you get showered and dressed :)

for my rice, I put the salt in with the dry rice. The water added will mix with the salt and cook just fine
