Buy the Miele Triflex HX1 Cat and Dog if you have bare floors such as hardwood, ceramic, laminate and tile, as well as Area rugs, wall-to-wall carpets and pet hair or carpeted stairs. Miele Triflex HX1 is Miels's middle of the line cordless, bagless stick vacuum cleaner. This model is exactly the same as the other two models as far as suction, performance, warranty, capacity and functionality, except it comes with a second attachment. A mini Electrobrush that is ideal for picking up pet hair from upholstery and furniture and carpeted stairs.
The most impressive feature of the Miele Triflex HX1 is its versatility in the type of configuration you can use it in. Most cordless stick vacuum cleaners made and sold are essentially the same design. The motor unit and the dust bin are positioned at the top of the vacuum. This is called the "Reach" configuration. The advantage of this design is that it allows you to reach harder to reach places easily. There are a couple of problems with this design, However. One is that they tend to be very Top-Heavy. That means a lot of weight on your hands and shoulders, especially if you use the vacuum for any length of time longer than a few minutes. The other problem with the "Reach" design is that the vacuum can not stand independently. It either has to be attached to its charging station or lean against a wall or furniture piece. Another design used for cordless, stick vacuum cleaners places the motor unit and the dust bin lower on the wand. Some models have had great success with this model. It reduces the weight placed on your hand and shoulders by 50%. The problem is that up until now, you had to choose between one of these two configurations. Should you go for a standard "Reach" configuration or a "Comfort" configuration? Well, with Miele Triflex HX1, you get both of these configurations in one model. Use the Triflex HX1 in the reach configuration for quick pick-ups around the kitchen table and the comfort configuration for vacuuming your whole house. There is also the third configuration, which is called the "handheld" configuration. This configuration is perfect for cleaning above-floor surfaces such as your countertops, baseboards and staircases.

This is the one I am looking for. I bought a Vacuum cleaner from the well known: "Chinese Company" and I am not fully satisfied. I have a African Grey parrot and 2 falcon parakeets . When I have to clean there cages, my cleaner does not do the job in one or two passes, but 9 or 11. and that's to much. They say the suction power is 21K ap but I doubt it. And what exactly is 21K ap? I can see the benefit of this machine. Much more power suction, and above all.....2 different suction nozzles, 7 years guaranty and 5 years on the motor. Yes it is 4 times the price I paid for my cleaner, but 10 times more efficiency. No more sunflower seed partikels fling around my head and back into the livingroom. I am disabled and doing every thing in my wheelchair. Weight distribution by putting the motor at the lowest point is a huge win-win situation. I hope I don't make to much mistakes in my spelling, I am Dutch from origin. Well at least it is a good way to practice😂 No serious, This guy is a great salesman, and I know, I was one myself. But this Miele is really the best I have seen in month of searching the internet, and at the end I made the most stupid choise. It can be a good choise for people who doesn't have much to spent, and that is oké,... but for not for me, no.....Give me a Miele Tryflex Cat and Dog. Greetings from me. I bought this but the head will not click to lock it into 'park' mode. So when I pick it up to carry it, the head just falls forward and it's so uncomfortable to try and carry it! Grr, am sending it back...
Hi Jeannine. That is peculiar. Nevertheless, Miele has an excellent warranty. I would suggest you take it to the dealer you purchased from and they should be able to help replace the head.
