  • The Little Grand Canyon, plus the fabled Buckhorn Wash Pictograph walls are featured. PLEASE NOTE it is a special event to enjoy The Little Grand Canyon as a Float Trip! The San Rafael Flow Rate must be at least 200 CFM at a Bare Minimum, some boat dragging may be required at that level. . . Generally high flow rates only occur on decent snow years during Spring Runoff, right around Memorial Day Weekend! When this video was shot the Flow Rate was 600 CFM. The flow rate can be checked Here: waterdata.usgs...
I used the Economical and Extremely Lightweight Klymit L.W.D. (Light Water Dingy.) It worked well but does get swamped by the smallest of waves, if it's warm out, it's Great!
zDISCLAIMER: The Expedition(s) documented on this channel are for entertainment purposes only, NOT FOR Explicit Instruction or Route Execution. I have had MANY NEAR DEATH experiences and a couple serious accidents over 30 years of Backcountry adventures, the RISKS are very REAL. I do not recommend or encourage attempting the routes or strategies shown in these videos, and assume no personal responsibility if you choose to do a similar outing. As always, hike, bike, Boat and climb at your own risk. Know Your LIMITS and stay within them if you expect to avoid any accidents. even then. . .

Yes, the sheer number of outdoor adventurists is surging, yet there are many areas off the beaten path that give one relative tranquility! Thanks again Lynn, how is the drone doing for you? Karl

Great rafting trip. Long walk back if you don't have 2 vehicles eh!! I can see why the river was so crowded with rafters.

Yeah thanks Ron, you're right I think it's about a 19 mile hike without using the river 🤔...no thanks!! Two vehicles for me Lol
