@@hattymuang5825 My favourite throw in disc golf. So reliable and disc usually very close at pin. Much more reliable outcome than backhand hyzer for me.
Great work on the vid! This was the comparison we need. I’m signing up for the space race no doubt! Curious if you have the total eclipse crave review coming as well?
Just had another 100 plus foot soft berg throw in with the nose up floater FH approach. Give basket a run while leaving yourself a manageable putt if you miss. Love my berg.
@@PartTimeDiscGolf this past Sunday I early released the berg and it was going right in middle of a pond but caught a small hanging branch that somehow redirected it enough to keep it try. The next hole I had my 120 foot throw in with it. The disc golf gods were smiling on my berg Sunday. Feel very fortunate to still have it.
I bag a K1 soft berg and I love it. Won't run out to grab a Range (especially with how long MVP seems to be taking with their stock drops) anytime soon, but if I ever lose my Berg I would definitely consider picking up a Range to try instead. As always, great video!
K1 soft Berg is my favourite disc. K3 is too hard and understable for what I prefer. Glow is much more stable but that is for dark rounds. Most of my discs are gyro and I will try this out. Electron soft would be so nice🎉
I've been very patient for this disc cause the specs suggest it's more like a Rhyno or a Lone Star Armadillo which I throw. Personally never liked the feel of a Berg. But I love this slot because I'm a polecat thrower and it's basically a more stable less glidey polecat. They're the only discs I throw within 150ft basically. Also don't like the slickness of glow MVP plastic so I'll have to wait until OTB open 2025 to probably get a different plastic. Thanks for the review.
I too just signed up for the space race. This will be my very first event. I might try some amateur tournaments next summer. I just enjoy getting out and having fun. I'm still pretty inconsistent with my throws, but it feels amazing when everything falls into place and you get a great throw.
So, how's it compared to an Ion then? Based on your description and footage, I feel like the Ion is already filling this gap in my bag. Slow, low-glide putter with good torque resistance... maybe not as low glide as the Berg or Range, but I never blow past the target with my trusty Ion either, so...
@@PartTimeDiscGolf nope I live in Ft Myers Florida, guess it just wasn’t meant to be. Dang that stinks I really wanted to try throwing that one. Thanks for replying to me anyways though…😖
It just holds whatever line and drops. MVP doesn’t make anything really like that so definitely fits in their line up. Could see the need for a bit more stability though.
I'm glad someone else out there is throwing the berg on anhyzer forehand. That's my secret weapon and has saved me many strokes.
Heck yeah. It’s a cheater backhand shot when the lie is tricky. Love it!

That’s been a go to shot for years.

Streamline really missed an opportunity to call this the Hindenberg
😂 Oh man! They sure did.
😂
You win this round
I would’ve gone with Heisenberg
Doing the Circuit Challenge next month. Super pumped for the two discs this year!!
Same here! It’s gonna be a good one this year.
Sounds like it feels like a berg but flies like a lone star armadillo. I think I’m going to love it! I get mine on Saturday!
Right on! Have fun this weekend.
I tested out my range yesterday. Went longer than I expected.. Need to get some more time with it. For those forehand shots I use my tempo.
That’s great. I love the tempo too.
Ah a man of great culture. One who understands the real purpose of the Berg
😂 Love it

Got a Space Race discs video coming out Friday. Stay tuned for that.
I really like the Range and will probably add it to the bag.
For sure. This type of disc is needed in the bag.
Can’t wait to try it out. Currently using my pyro for those forehand shots. Want something a little slower though.
It’s definitely more flippy than a glow Berg. But a pretty fun disc.
Great review! Signing up for Space Race this week to bag me one.
Nice. It’s worth it for the discs.

Yes. Such a great disc for running the chains.

MVP has been cranking out the drops this year, so it might not be that long.

I love Electron Soft. Would love all my discs to be in Electron Soft plastic. Can you make that happen @mvpdiscsports?
I throw my soft Berg on most approaches. It’s money.
Hooow?? K3 is melty? Like is the sun k3 folds in half, what are you talking about dude? K3 hard is stiff! But not k3
Thanks for the vid!
You bet!
My experience is that the K1 soft is by far the most stable out of the regular Berg, almost as stable as the Berg X.
Yes, love the K1 soft and I agree it is stable for sure.

No problem
I just signed up for the Space Race. It'll be the first event for this casual player. I've been practicing with a Crave and an Armadillo.
Nice. I love doing events like this. Especially MVP ones.

@traviswhitworth6506 same. I want to try to do tournaments next year, too.
Great review!
Thanks man
Lone Star did the same thing with the Armadillo
Nice.

Similar if flight, not in feel. This straight up feels like a Berg in the hand. Other than that, pretty close to the Ion.
It stinks being teased. 😅 I wish we could get them sooner. The closest Space Race to me is scheduled for a weekend that I can't go.
People are for sure starting to sell them off this week on FB and such
Oh man! Maybe you can sign up for an event and the TD will mail you the pack. If not, shoot me an email. I am hosting one in November.
Where can I get, buy, one of those discs that you are throwing in the video…?
You have to sign up for a Space Race event. You can look online and see if there is one in your area.

After seeing the flight comparison, I feel like MVP could have gave it more stability other than low glide it's similar to quite a few putters

I love the Berg for the stability. So I was hoping for more stability out of the Range, but their flight numbers don’t lie. It has some turn to it.
I use a Rhyno for these shots. Seems close to the same. Champion plastic.
Yes, glow would be the closest plastic.
I may get a Range, but I can’t dump my Bergs.
Yeah, after throwing the range more it definitely is less stable than the berg. Nothing wrong with that.
Great videos, but the background music is anoying.
Sorry about that
It’s berj.
Yep!
eh, rhyno
I love the stability of the rhyno for sure.
Foot fault
