That's funny about the air vent. I did something similar, but not as complicated as that. There was no way to shut the vent to my room when I was living in the Bachelor's Quarters when I served in the Navy. What I did was place a cutout inside the vent to prevent the air from just billowing out.

Jodi has talked about having really bad allergies which she's trying to determine if they're being worsened by her cats (whose breed are Devon rex's, because of their little amount of fur, as she made a smart choice in researching a breed to get where her allergies wouldn't be an issue) she's just returned from a trip to Korea where she was visiting skin specialists to help discover the cause of her issues. Because of the travel and for her own health while she discovers the cause of her flare ups, she's asked her parents to look after her cats for a while to avoid paying for cat sitting for an undetermined amount of time. No hate to you, but I wouldn't make unjustified and uneducated comments on influencers over the internet without knowing their reasoning for doing things. I think we're all aware these streamers are in a privileged position to do these things because of the money they make, but I don't think it's fair to make a snarky comment about Jodi being 'classic gen Z' when really her choices are around her health, she loves these cats and treats them very well, they are not "cats for Christmas" or "cats for lockdown" they are life long pets which she seems to truly love.
