The WNBA needs a Commissioner that will hand out serious fines and suspensions. The scary thing about Clark is that she hasn't even found her ceiling yet. And not only was she on fire, but she lit her whole team up like a rocket. I keep remembering a comment she made early in the season about how her teammates were dropping her crazy passes because they weren't used to them; now they are alert and ready for these insane Bird-style passes she makes. They know she can do it.
The thing is though, they also realized ... wait a second ... maybe we can ALL do it. And that was the magic. They ALL realized they hadn't found the ceiling yet.

Team owners, referees, coaches and all players are all to blame for fouling Caitlin Clark ; so is time to leave for other leagues now. Time to bankrupt the WNBA. If Fevers don't win the championship, the poke in the eye is to blame. Caitlin might not realize it herself, the eye is the most important for accuracy. All fans should stop watching totally once Caitlin Clark is out of the championship.

AD didn’t “not live up to the hype”. He was still a top 10 guy in the league for some time. Not a good example…there are way more extreme examples. Just my 2 cents.
AD was still 1st team all pro multiple years like you said. That’s pretty good.

I stopped watching sports during the take a knee fad.
I became interested again after hearing about CC, I had NEVER been interested in the WNBA till then. I have to say that the way this very talented and professional young woman has been treated by the players, the officials and the largely silent commissioner has soured me once again. I will probably pay a little attention to the sports talk to see if anyone is held responsible for the reprehensible way this team was treated this year. If not, I'm out again.

Larry Bird didn't win a championship or as an NBA rookie either. The "ring" people are ridiculous. If rings were the only things Tommy Heinsohn would be considered better than Jordan.
The efforts to diminish CCs accomplishments due to resentment, jealousy, pettiness, and yes black on white racism is astonishing and a very sad reflection on our society and the WNBA.
And she handled it all with such class! An amazing young lady.

Aja is the beneficiary of this year's welfare MVP...that seems harsh, but it is the reality of what happened. ESPN declared Aja the MVP at the start of the season and pushed that narrative all season long, downplaying the statistics and impact of Clark. Statistics can be used to manipulate reality. My formula attempts to take position bias and media bias out of the conversation. FG+FT+(assist x2.1)+(rebounds x1.1)+(steals x1.5) Clark generated 2000 points to Wilson's 1500 points. I did not use blocks because this is a positional bias. I believe Clark's generalship and involvement of her players tump wilson's defensive contribution. Contributions to sales and viewership have also had a massive impact on the league. Overall, the MVP should have been unanimous in Clark's favor as statistical impact is clearly in Clark's favor. At worse Clark has the advantage. WE should look at impact on team and level of difficulty. Aja plays on a well coached team that has 4 recent MVP candidates and has been to two championships. Without Aja on the team, this team would likely still be making it to the semifinals of the league championship. In contrast, Clark's level of difficulty was absolutely insane. Her team had not been to a play in nearly a decade... her team had a bench so weak that she had to play most mins on her team as a rookie .....her coach was in her second year. The Fever only have 3 of 12 players considered reliable. It's doubtful that the fever would have made the playoff without Caitlin. All this information was available to espn, yet they chose to ignore what Caitlins has done for the league and her team to push their narratives. Hence, I call it a welfare league.

Indiana probably won't go to far in the playoffs its remarkable that they are even there , but problem is her team is not there for her they don't protect her from the jealous bullies in the league most are mediocre players they have stepped up at times however one person can not win all the time its a team effort not to mention coach Sides is horrible Clack at some point in time she is going to have to come to the realization that staying with the Fever is going to harm her career .
