Nice rant. Seems like nowadays Cartoon Network does not care what people think of their Network. Ever since Teen Titans Go became kind of a success, they've been rebooting shows left and right. If we want Cartoon Network to stop, we have to stop giving these reboots attention.
Another great video. This rant couldn’t have been more perfect. Cartoon Network has taken for granted all of the good will they have earned throughout the years for delivering some of the most iconic, memorable, dynamic ,and creative cartoons and animated shows ever made. But as time goes on, as the people in charge become more and more consumed by greed and laziness, Cartoon network’s content continues slip deeper and deeper into an abyss of mediocrity. This latest thundercats reboot is just further proof that they have lost all integrity and dignity and don’t care about honoring the past of the thundercats brand or their network. Shame on them. And shame on every last person who is involved with this reboot.

I miss action shows like the 2003 ninja turtles, 80s transformers, MMPR. Cartoon Network had KND, 2003 Teen Titans, Justice Leauge Unlimited, 2011 ThunderCats, OG Ben 10, Samurai Jack, Toonami, ect. Hell even Disney had shows like Kim Possible and Gargoyles and Nickelodeon had shows like Avatar TLA and Danny Phantom.
I even miss the Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles of 1999 or Shadow Riders: War Planets also from 1999 (also had the toys). I know both shows aren't the best (not to mention 3D), but I liked them as a kid. I also miss good old Superman from 1996 and I am not that big fun of super heroes, but it was fun to watch. Does any one even remember Mighty Max from 1993 and Mummies Alive 1997? Or Street Sharks 1994, sure people hated it for being a cheap copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But I miss it mostly for nostalgia and the toys were bad ass, what kid doesn't like a buffed shark? only me? ok...
Buddy and also the Marvel shows like Avengers EMH, Ultimate Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble from Seasons 1-3 ( which I lost interest in it when season 4 started)

Makes more sense to create original shows than rebooting classic shows that people hold dear to their hearts. This was not done out of love for the original thunder cats. This was done for strictly business reasons. I understand why, but there are other ways they could of made money instead of cashing in the originals. They should've brought back the 2011 thunder cats cartoon but no that would be asking for too much. Like you said, Cartoon Network does not learn. But they will learn once AT&T buy their asses out.

Yeah, Toonami is literally the only reason I still watch cartoon network as well and that is kind of painful for me to say. Mostly, because I still remember a time where cartoon network used to be king. They weren't afraid to take chances and were overflowing with content ranging from decent to excellent. They even made their own mecha show called Megas XLR. Now thier shows are either shit or barely mediocre.
By taking out serious conflict and real problems that characters faces in these shows, it's just turning this generation into pussies. We already can't deal with criticism without screaming about political correctness or people being overly butthurt. And demand that people don't criticize. Well, guess what. We need all of that to grow and learn from mistakes.
People like you inspire me more than most cartoons today. As majoring to become a future animator like you. I always want to make good quality stories and animated series. I got two ideas. If i ran cartoon network i want a clean house too. Get children wanting to get up early in the morning again. Making older fans happy too.

This is why I use Netflix to stream content nowadays, cause you know what Netflix actually has that Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon don't have? VARIETY! That's right! V...A...R...I...E...T...Y!!! I actually get a variety of different television shows and genres to choose from, including action cartoons such as Voltron: Legendary Defender and Trollhunters, which Fartoon Network doesn't have at all nowadays. With Cable TV dying and streaming services on the rise, Netflix really needs to push for even more quality content so they can stay at the top of their game just like they are now. Meanwhile, Fartoon Network can continue pooping out cheap reboots, Adventure Time/Gravity Falls ripoffs, and Teen Titans Go marathons until they finally lose all their viewers and shut down.

I don't really judge these shows since I don't watch them. Based on looks alone though, the reboots always have that weird modern artstyle that has a weird stink of lazy ugly tumblr art feel. ThunderCat Roar just looks the worst out of them all. Then since most reboots have fallen flat on their asses, I have no faith in this show whatsoever. But CN doesn't really matter to me anyways because I stopped watching the channel. Nothing clicks anymore and the shows I do still watch have either ended or will be soon.
Well, there’s Summer Camp Island and Craig of the Creek. Those are good shows from Cartoon Network. It’s best to watch it from the CN App though; considering that on TV, it’s TTG over and over and over again.

I got a real bad feeling that animators themselves do not want to create quality. :'( It's good to know that's not at all the case. :) I actually didn't watch Thundercats safe for the first episode of the original cartoon but I completely understand all the hatred and I am pissed off too. Especially after the PPG Reboot which show I did watch as a kid and fell in love with it more as an adult.

I don't mind if Cartoon Network wants to go all comedy as we do have alternatives to get our action show fixes, but if they want to make a comedy then at least have it be an original show without relying on previous brands, I'll say they just got lucky with Teen Titans GO! But they've been using it as the template for pretty much every show they've rebooted, I mean unless the show goes to Adult Swim then it's pretty much going to be using the Teen Titans GO! Template and just because it uses an already existing property doesn't guarantee it will be a success I mean just look at Powerpuff Girls 2016 that followed the Teen Titans GO! template and even when they tried both stirring up controversy and attempted ratings traps with it, it didn't gain much attention like I said I just think they're trying to recreate Teen Titans GO!'s success but they just can't I mean they just got lucky with GO! I don't really think they should use it as a template for how they handle all their show revivals, I mean you can bet if Samurai Jack had aired on the main Cartoon Network channel during it's normal hours and if it hadn't gone to Adult Swim's version of Toonami that it would have used the Teen Titans GO! template for how they've been reviving everything else and we'd be talking about it much more negatively and it wouldn't just be the last few episodes where we consider it the point where it fell apart but we'd be talking about it the same way we talk about PPG 2016 and the new Ben 10 reboot, I mean why should we give this a chance we already gave PPG 2016 and the Ben 10 reboot a chance how many more chances does Cartoon Network get with these reboots before people see the pattern honestly the people who keep defending Cartoon Network each time they revive a show remind me of someone in a relationship with someone who constantly uses and lies to them yet they keep making excuses for them and giving them endless second chances, we don't want to give this new Thundercats reboot a chance because Cartoon Network has proven it's incompetence when it comes to reviving shows in the past with stuff like the Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10 reboots, how many more times does Cartoon Network need to fuck up with rebooting shows before people finally wake up?
The #1 Yoshi I do agree. I feel like since 2010, Cartoon Network haven't treated their action cartoons with the up most respect. I feel like they could do way better on streaming platforms like Netflix where they won't have to worry and toy sales. But it does bother me that Cartoon Network have moved away from the action genre. Especially knowing they've always been doing it since 1992. I do agree that if they want to go all comedy, they should do by creating original shows instead instead on leaching off of the success of the classic shows.

I hate the politically accurate but some times i hate politically inaccurate cuz sometimes they past the crap with violence and put some dark things that may harm you more than you think, sadly we're extremists and ironics, we like the violence, or like the system we like to censor anything and everybody are like we like to feel bad with anything good and bad, we're like sadomysts, and it doesn't sound good, to take out our traumas or something that triggered us, so this is a tie.
I miss when cartoons had an actual story and lesson to be learned every episode like it used to be back then kids had some sense to heed the warnings and lessons now they simply can't handle being taught anything other than pure chaos with no meaning or reason behind it

I mean, you were good..... for once but you’ve change between 2013 and 2017. Even horrible reboots that doesn’t help bring the old fans back. Now people moving on from cable to steaming. Me, I move on to RUclips, not Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime Video. But planning on getting Disney steam service because I love Disney and always support. But Disney did a smartest moves I seen in recent years, (Very impressive how Disney is doing now.) But I felt Cartoon Network no longer take chances depend on creative control like Nickelodeon. I grew up watching these cartoons as a kid it and now as a adult these reboots suck
I was born in 2007 and i mostly found about some of the old cartoons like knd, courage, and ed, edd n eddy from reruns.
This is why I use Netflix to stream content nowadays, cause you know what Netflix actually has that Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon don't have? VARIETY! That's right! V...A...R...I...E...T...Y!!! I actually get a variety of different television shows and genres to choose from, including action cartoons such as Voltron: Legendary Defender and Trollhunters, which Fartoon Network doesn't have at all nowadays. With Cable TV dying and streaming services on the rise, Netflix really needs to push for even more quality content so they can stay at the top of their game just like they are now. Meanwhile, Fartoon Network can continue pooping out cheap reboots, Adventure Time/Gravity Falls ripoffs, and Teen Titans Go marathons until they finally lose all their viewers and shut down.

I will say this... If ever there was something that could motivate artists to create better shows, it's things like this. If you want a reboot done right, you have to do it yourself.

I don't really judge these shows since I don't watch them. Based on looks alone though, the reboots always have that weird modern artstyle that has a weird stink of lazy ugly tumblr art feel. ThunderCat Roar just looks the worst out of them all. Then since most reboots have fallen flat on their asses, I have no faith in this show whatsoever. But CN doesn't really matter to me anyways because I stopped watching the channel. Nothing clicks anymore and the shows I do still watch have either ended or will be soon.

Well, there’s Summer Camp Island and Craig of the Creek. Those are good shows from Cartoon Network. It’s best to watch it from the CN App though; considering that on TV, it’s TTG over and over and over again.

I actually didn't watch Thundercats safe for the first episode of the original cartoon but I completely understand all the hatred and I am pissed off too. Especially after the PPG Reboot which show I did watch as a kid and fell in love with it more as an adult.

I don't mind if Cartoon Network wants to go all comedy as we do have alternatives to get our action show fixes, but if they want to make a comedy then at least have it be an original show without relying on previous brands, I'll say they just got lucky with Teen Titans GO! But they've been using it as the template for pretty much every show they've rebooted, I mean unless the show goes to Adult Swim then it's pretty much going to be using the Teen Titans GO! Template and just because it uses an already existing property doesn't guarantee it will be a success I mean just look at Powerpuff Girls 2016 that followed the Teen Titans GO! template and even when they tried both stirring up controversy and attempted ratings traps with it, it didn't gain much attention like I said I just think they're trying to recreate Teen Titans GO!'s success but they just can't I mean they just got lucky with GO! I don't really think they should use it as a template for how they handle all their show revivals, I mean you can bet if Samurai Jack had aired on the main Cartoon Network channel during it's normal hours and if it hadn't gone to Adult Swim's version of Toonami that it would have used the Teen Titans GO! template for how they've been reviving everything else and we'd be talking about it much more negatively and it wouldn't just be the last few episodes where we consider it the point where it fell apart but we'd be talking about it the same way we talk about PPG 2016 and the new Ben 10 reboot, I mean why should we give this a chance we already gave PPG 2016 and the Ben 10 reboot a chance how many more chances does Cartoon Network get with these reboots before people see the pattern honestly the people who keep defending Cartoon Network each time they revive a show remind me of someone in a relationship with someone who constantly uses and lies to them yet they keep making excuses for them and giving them endless second chances, we don't want to give this new Thundercats reboot a chance because Cartoon Network has proven it's incompetence when it comes to reviving shows in the past with stuff like the Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10 reboots, how many more times does Cartoon Network need to fuck up with rebooting shows before people finally wake up?

I do agree. I feel like since 2010, Cartoon Network haven't treated their action cartoons with the up most respect. I feel like they could do way better on streaming platforms like Netflix where they won't have to worry and toy sales. But it does bother me that Cartoon Network have moved away from the action genre. Especially knowing they've always been doing it since 1992. I do agree that if they want to go all comedy, they should do by creating original shows instead instead on leaching off of the success of the classic shows.

But Cartoon Network start rotten when Teen Titans Go! became a big success and replace both Adventure Time and Regular Show. I mean, you were good..... for once but you’ve change between 2013 and 2017. Even horrible reboots that doesn’t help bring the old fans back.
Now people moving on from cable to steaming. Me, I move on to RUclips, not Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime Video. But planning on getting Disney steam service because I love Disney and always support.
But Disney did a smartest moves I seen in recent years, (Very impressive how Disney is doing now.) But I felt Cartoon Network no longer take chances depend on creative control like Nickelodeon. You want modern cartoons to look better and have some action and I want modern anime to have good stories and characters. I am still waiting, but modern manga adaptations of old manga are somewhat good like jojo and parasite because you cant beat the old school.
