I discovered Daryl Cooper because of Dave Smith hyping up Fear and Loathing in the New Jerusalem. I've been a fan of Jocko for a few years and just found out that Daryl knew Jocko. I love that all my favorite people all love each other. Now we need to get Jocko on Part of the Problem

@michaelshelton5488 agreed! But that's the problem...people still have corporate media brain..the headline is this and that makes it factual..yet if you listen to the man put his heart into the nearly 30 hour podcast covering the Jewish people you would realize no he is just trying to answer the question of how and why ib others eyes

Military history is a thread that combines all things. To understand military history you need to know about technology, politics, cultures, geography, climate, engineering, education, psychology, economics, religions, leadership and many other things. These factors all play a significant role in military history. This works in many levels. Nations, armies, generals and soldiers.

I love history podcasts and for a long time now I've considered Dan Carlin to be at the head of the table as far as history podcasts go. Another opening with a bang, and a brief insight into Vietnam, including the chaos and also the racism (which was present on all sides), and the unexpected. I still can't stand how badly some of those soldiers were treated when they got back. I once worked with a brave man who was wounded over there, and he told me about being spit on when he was walking through the airport in San Francisco. It's deplorable to look back at how many of those vets got thrown under the bus, on multiple levels!

First, thank you for putting down the timestamp in your comment. Second, it would be even better if you at least mentioned the topic that you are referring to because everything you wrote down is completely abstract without a subject. Third, I clicked on your link and listened to the first few minutes of what Darrell said and it is completely bogus. "If you want to be an astronaut or a fighter pilot, you just have to put your mind to it and you can do anything you want." That is ridiculous. The best advice to give young people is to figure out what their gifts are and not to go off chasing fantasies which they are unable to accomplish because of their low IQ level or their physical inabilities. No matter how much you try, you will never become an Olympic swimmer unless you have the physical body to accomplish that. You need to give young people realistic goals and evaluations of what they're capable of doing so that they can succeed at the things that they are able to do. One has to recognize that other people are simply better than them.

Can you manufacture the material which prevents the virus from going through? it has to have a particular material bc the virus particles are very small. So you could have the filters available for those who need them too, and then insert. You can always repurpose later on if you need to.
Make the ones that go around your ears, not your head, they stay on much better.
And there are some prototypes coming up which have an outer layer which kills the virus on contact. You should look into that too, bc it might be easier than the ventilator inserts. And more effective.

I relate to the moving books thing. When I moved the last time I traded in a whole book case of books because I didn't want to pack them up. I regret that decision to this day.

I think what Darryl meant is that when his sister died, every relative realised that the petty differences from the past didnt matter at all in the grand scheme off things.

it took me quite a few years years why my bosses in the Army called me 'a leadership challenge'. This guys story reminds me of some things that happened to me. I had a PLT SGT put me in charge of a squad and I think that unfucked me, or led me to the path to figure that out.

It kind of hit me when you guys were talking about people turning to Jim Jones and Isis and how those who leave first nation countries to do so and how they have the longing to be a part of something to fit in, what hit me was how our educational systems and our society is or has gone the way of all pumping out more and more numbers of people who will be, who are and/or who will already be leaning in the direction to be easy pickings for people or groups in that wheelhouse. The education system leaves any with half a brain cell longing for anything truthful, also with the unsatisfied feeling and hunger for knowledge while at the same time has drill into them not to question anything beyond face value, and has discouraged the natural drive to search out or seek the truth and fulfilment that knowledge brings. You add that to a society that kids are more often then not are being raised by a single mom or at best two parents that are so busy, self absorbed, or might as well be absent, and kids these day's being brought up by social media, mainstream media, and the internet, all of which is about hating our country, traditional roles and values, God is worse then a four letter word, masculinity is toxic, and the only contact with other people is done through text or on a screen, all to me and any with common sense should seem like we are turning out empty vessels, preprogrammed to download the ideals, values, and identity of choice. Is it any wonder those who are all about jihad or any other cult matured leaders have nothing more then drop seeds all across the interweds to recruit for their cause? This is more for western nations, other nations have their own kind of issues.
