I created this piece for an entry into a juried exhibition show. The Exhibition was great; however, my piece of art did not get chosen. This piece came alive in front of me during the creation because I just let myself go and used the materials that I had. I even made rust out of ground cinnamon, yes the spice in your kitchen, and Mod Podge. It was the first time I had ever painted like this and I am thinking of revisiting and going back and adding pieces and making this a series or a stand alone Works of Art.
This video is sped up and chopped a lot, roughly around 5 hours of video. I just really wanted to share it with you and I may revisit a longer version with some thoughts of what I was thinking and where this painting took me emotionally. I hope you enjoy it.
