Totally agree. It’s so interesting to see these guys grow as players, and now they have the musicians around them that will challenge them to keep getting better. Seems crazy to me that Greta Van Fleet are tapped as the next generation of rock when this exists. The Twigs have their OWN thing going on.
Great Victory!!! These brothers make me believe that there is a parallel universe where the seventies are still present in all their fullness, freshness, vitality and charm.
jpmezart To me personally, the opposite would be true. The Twigs are very fun and talented when playing live, but they kinda overkill it in my opinion. That especially goes for Michael. While the songs are very well constructed, thought through, polished and perfected, it doesn’t appear that way live when they do whatever the heck they like with the vocals especially. It’s cool but lowers the musical standard in my humble opinion.
I would never normally tolerate this level of kitsch but they're just such fantastic band. And let's face it they don't take themselves too seriously which is always endearing.
Oh my Goodness! How fabulous! Lemon Twigs have nailed the mid/late '60's early 70's sound and wonderfully Beatle-esque song constructs. Sounds right up to date and 'Just Here and Now' as well. I love the way they keep the riff and musicality in the Guitar Solo. To be Honest that's the only Guitar Solo I have been able to listen to since about 1968. Just delightful. Very Impressive. Love it.
I’ve seen about a dozen videos of this tune being performed live, but Brian’s solo at the end of this rendition was definitely the best one. 🔥 Man, is he good. And man, is this great song. 👌
These guys really rock, everything in a band that we need to hear. Their tunes and musicianship is amazingly refreshing to the ears. Rock on young brothers!
the twigs are so underrated.. and both of them are still in their early 20s .. fully talented .. i hope tey got their breakthrough to mainstream listeners
Michael is 19 still, and when they released their first album which is full of fantastic music, they were 19 and 17 years old. I really hope they grow and get more noticed in the future!
This bass player! His really fast and difficult (for most of us) technical playing, combined with a totally relaxed physiology is memorizing to me. What an amazing talent. Who are the brothers of the group? they're not bad also ; )
Been a fan. Saw them 2 days ago and kicking myself for not appreciating this song earlier... Brian might need to go off on his own though. Get Danny back in the band too. Michael was a mess.
Brian's playing gets better and better
yeah, he's really getting there

When I saw them in Jersey like 2 months ago he ripped even way harder than this. He's absolutely unreal.
Man E Faces I agree with everything you said except everything but the last sentence.
Audio quality and mix help in this session tone wise, very cool authentic rock sounds
Great Victory!!!
These brothers make me believe that there is a parallel universe where the seventies are still present in all their fullness, freshness, vitality and charm.
And here’s me thinking the solo on KEXP was monumental . Just a pity they never did all their oldies in Liverpool a few weeks ago …❤️
That guitar solo was heaven to my ears
I don’t even listen to the studio version now I just listen to this lol
lol facts it's significantly better, I hope they someday release a live album with all of these versions
Insane band, why the fuck arent they massive
Oh my god that solo is a river of purity
BRIAN'S TALENT TRANSCENDS OUR PLANE OF EXISTENCE
Damn I get so happy when I remember this video exists
good lord, that’s better than the studio version.
I def agree
All their live stuff is better than the studio versions

The bass player is insanely good, brilliant at backing vocals too
I love Michael's harmonies.
Refreshing progressions, chord changes, key changes, lead riffs, vocals, harmonies, ❤️! The Lemon Twigs really rock! You guys keep getting better and tighter!
I would never normally tolerate this level of kitsch but they're just such fantastic band. And let's face it they don't take themselves too seriously which is always endearing.
So true. It’s what I love about them. They have grown too.

since 1968? You realize that leaves out Hotel California, bohemian rhapsody, stairway to heaven, etc
omfg the guitar solo !!!!!

Soo good, I'm just sitting here smiling.
Absolutely smashed that solo!!!!
My new favorite band and I saw them live. Instant love.
Me too. Can't stop listening to "Go To School"
Holy fuck, I caught these guys last week at music hall of Williamsburg and they blew me away. Jaw on the floor. Bravo
The song is great, but that solo is magic
Dude. Brian's guitar just made my heart freakin' beat! Such a great performance. Such a great band.
Brian has a quite beautiful voice.
Best version I've heard so far
I’ve seen about a dozen videos of this tune being performed live, but Brian’s solo at the end of this rendition was definitely the best one. 🔥
Man, is he good.
And man, is this great song. 👌
I think this is best version
AMAZING!!!!!!!! Brian's fingers just fly on those frets and strings! I love Michael too AWESOME!
These guys really rock, everything in a band that we need to hear. Their tunes and musicianship is amazingly refreshing to the ears. Rock on young brothers!
Amazing band. Just learned of them. One of those bands where studio recordings are excellent and live versions capture something even more. IMO.
The 'guitar solo' is back! And this time for real.
Brian is amazing.
Incredible audio engineering. Wow. Better than the studio recordings!!
This is f ing insane!
thast CRAZY
the twigs are so underrated.. and both of them are still in their early 20s .. fully talented .. i hope tey got their breakthrough to mainstream listeners

Version exceptionnelle, touchée par la grâce ! La captation est excellente et les musiciens ont tout réussi sur ce morceau.
Insane talent here ! Love from France.
Excellent step-up! I need this album.

Just pooped my pants listening to that guitar solo so goddamn GOOD
Brian slays this solo. Live it🔥🤘🏿💖🎸
Great moment at 4:45
Brian is amazing
Insanely good!
They are so fuckin good.
This bass player! His really fast and difficult (for most of us) technical playing, combined with a totally relaxed physiology is memorizing to me. What an amazing talent. Who are the brothers of the group? they're not bad also ; )
the bass player is actually Daryl johns who plays a lot of jazz
I dig the twigs
god that solo is fire
Theyre crazy

God bless Brian
At 5:20, it’s reminiscent of Neil Young’s guitar playing
Increíble, los nuevos Who
Damn Brian, go off
Brilliant.
These guys are unspeakable geniuses
I dig this xxx

Lemon Twigs is becoming more and more Brian's band. He is totally awesome!
❤️❤️❤️
Pray for Shane :v
Waouh !
the way brian looked at michael at 2;09 LMAO
Wow we didnt have a guitar hero like brian since Annie Clark, he's getting better and better! Also, Michael is so stylish here
Well fuck my ear holes, Brians solo was insane wasn't expecting that
1:27
That guitar is the sound of God
foda pra caralho
They’re always better live
Brian's solo was sweet, but the way Michael moves his bony body is what really butters my egg roll.
Been a fan. Saw them 2 days ago and kicking myself for not appreciating this song earlier... Brian might need to go off on his own though. Get Danny back in the band too. Michael was a mess.
Sorry for my bad German... aber einfach nur geil.
Great music, The Lemon Twigs an underrated band. They are better than some these MAJOR MUSICIANS like Gaga.
At least half of these views are mine....
You have good taste Miss Bliss. Cheers 🍻
If Michael does not take care of his throat he could lose his voice
Micheal is strung out...Brian doesn't seem as bad
Venaboo Gaudu what do you mean on drugs ?
The Kimmel live version is the best!
Royal Blood and 21 pilots are more famous than The Lemon Twigs.
This world is so wrong.
Royal blood isn't bad
I'm a fan of all 3. Why not enjoy all of them?
21 pilots are awesome wyta
Yeah well Royal Blood are awesome but they're not even close to Lemon Twigs brilliance. Honestly
at the end i bet michael turns and just says "that was so sick"
both are not taking good care of their voices
how so
False
