It wasn't that long ago and despite the grainy looking clips that people show sometimes... When the stuff really came out for the first time it looked clean

I think the "I'll take you" version only showed on MTV.

Yeah...this aired in this exact form on broadcast TV in Charlotte and Atlanta in the early '80s. I don't recall any outrage.
