I understand the level of frustration. People like this stewardess act sweet and proper, but in reality they’re enjoying the power trip their job gives them over other people.
I can definitely believe that. This lady was very annoying and power hungry. It takes some serious balls to stand up to people like her and Greg(Ben stiller)had them! 💪💪
@@sterlinrivera0325, he says "step off bitch!!" instead of "f*** off bitch" for just one reason, that the f word is never said in the Focker movies. She wasn't really being that nice. She was condescending to Greg at the gate about his row not being called yet in spite of no one actually being there. But Greg was the one not being nice to her on the plane, she was just telling him to check his bag because it wouldn't fit in the overhead compartment. There was some understanding to the way Greg acted there after them losing his bag earlier and taking like 4 days to finally get it to him, and with him being in an awful mood after his experience with Pam's family. Nah. People give their families stupid power. Your family should accept & always be courteous to the person YOU choose. PERIOD. Concerns can be brought up privately and tactfully. Otherwise, ditch the family.. they ain't worth it.
That is nice, yes, but sadly In some cultures only the husbands family is given that consideration and inclusion. Such as the South Asian (Indian, bengali, Pakistani) culture where adult son brings his bride home to live with his parents forever, and expects her to serve and care for his parents, his siblings and their spouses and kids. She will be expected to abandon her own parents and family and seek her husband's or/and parents in laws permission to visit her own parents. The boy basically gets a live in girlfriend and a free of charge maid for his parents by marrying. So while I appreciate your sentiments this should be mutual. I think it is best you marry, move into your own home, and don't let family interfere but respect *BOTH* families in law. But in some patriarchal cultures what you suggested is seen as emasculating the husbands. Some cultures have a lot of change and growing up to do.
I'll say this about Greg, he had a lot of balls. Most people wouldn't have the balls to stick up for themselves in public like this, especially on a plane.
