Hey everyone, I wanted to share this clip of both a 1 carat and 2 carat lab diamond side by side. This is a great way to see just how much bigger a 2 carat diamond is over a 1 carat on a size six finger.
Comparing the two diamonds there really is no right answer on which one is "better." It's really up to you and what size diamond you prefer. When I observe the diamonds I can't help being struck by the size and beauty of the 2 carat diamond, but I also appreciate the smaller 1 carat diamond as it looks more natural on my wife's finger.
Let me know what you guys think in the comments below. I would love to hear your opinion.
Thanks for watching. - Хобби

Thank you for this video. I was on the James Allen website and wanted to see the carat comparison. Very beautiful rings.
both are stunning 🤩
I Think I like 1.5 the most! Perfect in between size
Thank you very much! You helped me a lot
Very helpful
That is not a 2 ct. that’s huge in the hand
😂
I am looking to get Point and Etched Tension set engagement ring, what kind of diamond do you recommend? Thanks for all your videos
what size is that 1 carat in mm?
I have a 2.22 in size 5.25, it's not that big in person. Maybe because I stare at it way too much 😅 It does appear big in camera especially if the cut is excellent lol
Even with an excellent cut, there will be variation in the spread. Diamonds of the same weight can look bigger/larger
Is that really how big a 1 carat is
Either you are mistaken about her finger size, the carat weight of these stones, or they (particularly the “2ct”) are poorly cut/shallow. I would be interested to know the measurements of these stones in mm.
Yes what size is the 1ct?
What did your fiancé prefer?! That’s what I want to know.
She preferred a natural diamond. The smaller one in this video at 1.1 carat!
Y’all can get a 2ct for $3k at Rare Carat, I’m jus sayin 🤷🏽♀️
Exactly! I got a 3 carat with incredible specs that I got set in platinum, and it was nowhere near $7000......
@vitaminC7657 not natural diamond.
I would go with the natural diamond 1 ct, eventho I prefer 2 ct more, I would def go with the natural diamond.
Natural diamond's are a total waste of money >Dimond's are NOT AN INVESTMENT If you think they are try to resell it and see how much you will lose 50 to 70%
@@kevinbuckley4507 agreed. I don’t understand why someone would want to pay double for the exact same thing.
Literally makes no sense to me.
Yeah I know RIGHT I would rather spend less and get a Bigger better stone and keep the money in my pocket I guess some people have more money than sense @@Bonezz024
In reality it's all just a rock. You're just paying for the technicians time cutting and polishing it.
@@kevinbuckley4507 well ppl can do whatever they want with their own money 😂🤣
That 2.16 lab is now is about 2100. Prices tanked
Meh.. a diamond, whether natural or lab-grown, is not an investment. It's a depreciating asset so if you're thinking of reselling it expect to receive 25% of what it originally cost.
@@garrettp.2049 they actually go up in value w time. If you get them for wholesale, they are actually assets. Natural diamonds aren't depreciating assets. Sorry.
amazing hands. whatta beauty she is.
Lab loose value as soon as u leave ahopn
They all do lmao.
Go try and sell one afterwards and see what you get.
Lab diamonds should'nt exist. It kills the magic.
They bussed your head for the price because you can get a 2ct lab diamond for $1600 hundred
Depends on quality
Sizes definitely look exaggerated or these diamonds are not real. A 1ct should only be 6.4mm across. That thing is huge.
Really depends on the cut and color. A poorly cut grade H diamond will appear smaller than an excellent cut, grade E diamond. Also depends on where the diamond holds most of it's carat weight. Some diamonds are bottom heavy.
Ya I bought a vvs2 1.1 ct and it looks tiny!!! This is BS
