Just done this job today although I used a different video but this is a nice clear example of how to do it I think you can use the key on the bottom to push the lid off at the same time as pushing the old filter out That cup attached to the original filter threw me as well The o ring sealing surface is on the inside of the filter housing so even if you have bent the top thin af flange a little bit it shouldn’t impair the sealing Good work
Hey 👋 best way to find a fuel filter it’s to trace the fuel line back from the fuel rail untill you find a filter, if you can’t find a filter, some cars don’t have a filter that is changeable and have a lifetime filter in the tank. 👍
Hey 👋 if you trace the fuel lines from the rail back to the tank and you don’t see a filter, then it’s most likely to have a in tank life time filter that’s not serviceable. You can also check with your local dealer. 👍

Hi 👋 just fill the filter with diesel before you refit it and start, it will self bleed once it’s running👍
Just fyi, Some old Renaults have a priming bulb you can self prime the system with. 👍

Is it on driver side on left hand drive car
It should be on the same side I believe, but a Quick Look in the engine bay at where the fuel lines run and you will know 👍
