I just googled it and apparently the Mii Channel theme was indeed done by Kazumi Totaka, along with the music for all the other channels that game with the Wii by default.
A bit of a random comment, but this part at 0:37 sounds a bit like the sonic 3 data select screen, doesn’t it? it’s probably just a coincidence, but I cant unhear it. :P

I can't believe this has less views than BGM 3, and BGM 3 somehow has more views than BGM 1. I hate BGM 3, but I am incredibly in love with BGM 2, the best theme in the game.
