Sometimes I use to walk from Pitsea station to Kingswood , rather than wait for a train on Fenchurch line and would basically walk that exact route. A trip down memory lane. Thank you.
Greetings from eBike Mark! I'm surprised we haven't bumped into each other yet. I'm the guy who delivers takeaways on his electric bike with the camera on his head! :-) Keep up the good work! You're highlighting how hard it is to get around this town with all its potholes and bad paths and I for one appreciate that!
Hiya Mark. I may have at some point passed you but never realised. I'm mainly a morning scooter and get back home for my 2nd sleep by about mid-day and I'd imagine that's when you start. We may well bump into each other at some point as my adventures are getting longer and eating into that necessary zzzz time! Thanks for the compliment and I'll be continuing venturing into pastures old and new for as long as I'm able (and don't get fed up with the state of the damned pavements and roads!)
I lived in Swanstead from when I was born until 1981 where I lived on craylands until 1992 where I moved out of Basildon, these videos are great for nostalgia, so much familiar still there , I visit family and friends from time to time
Not bad video we moved into Swanstead in 67 I was 12 grew in the town was a boy racer married 81 and moved out 87 I loved basildon in those days a great place to grow up we had pubs disco the lot now I drive thru it oh my god
Where you crossed Clayhill Road, the sheltered housing (Hill Court) used to be a patch of woodland. To the left, out of view, the Kingswood estate was open land. Lots of change there over the years. Basildon is so over built now.
Old Man Stan! A living legend! Of course you can use it - you've given me so many laughs and giggles over the years. I even suggested to you to publish mp3s of your songs at one point. As long as you don't corrupt it TOO much

I used to live in Basildon on Sunnedon in the mid 1980s. Lots of great memories and met some good people who lived there. Thanks for the video

Hoping to see what used to be called Pitsea junior school - I think it's been renamed nowadays

Do you have video of Lynstead and Elm Green, and also what used to be Pitsea Infants/ Junior school?
Doesn't look like much has changed in the 14 years since I left Grapnells.
👍
Hi, This is great. Can I use it with credit? Fanx

What is Kingswood and the Woodlands Estate like as an area to live in?
Used to be very nice. Heard woodlands estate has become more houses of multiple occupancy internet years, which has had a negative effect
Un lugar maravilloso donde quiciera ir de bacaciones x mucho tiempo y ojala quedarme a vivir alla
Carlos, are you a troll account? Basildon is awful. Nobody dreams of visiting basildon

Estoy confundido por qué te gusta este lugar. no hay mucha historia o cukture.
the most depressing place to live in the UK - Basildon is a Chavs paradise
True - used to live in Pitsea between 1987-2016 ….still go back as family in the area but it’s gone completely now
