I like have some transformation variants are power-up skills.
I absolutely hate it in reference to blue evolution. It should be its own transformation not a power up that's ridiculous.
I'm happy too, cause this makes sense, cause Blue Evolved & Blue Kaioken are enhancements of Super Saiyan Blue.

I think Vegeta's Blue Evo is supposed to be more like the Manga where it's not a big buff form and more of just a boost to blue.
Still doesn't excuse the fact that hi. Having 2 beams and a final explosion reskin is just... kinda underwhelming considering we could've gotten his pummel on Goku Black or his Dead End Crush (the beatdown he did to Golden Frieza)

They better handle blue evolution differently in the full game because this is trash.
If there was one thing I would change is that when you use the skills both SSBK and Blue Evo should stay permantly on Goku and Vegeta and same with every power up skill. If it changes the look it should be stick for the whole match the buffs can fade out but atleast let us keep the cool looks from the forms
The thing with not making them separate buffs is because 1) it kinda is a like a kaioken, and 2) Vegeta barely did anything in that form. It would just copy the earlier moveset.
1st. They should keep kaioken Blue as is. Don't make ot last long as kaiken blue is never depicted as something that has stamina
Honestly, SSJBE being a skill makes sense if you think about how it's being portrayed alongside SSJBKK.
Though you could say that Grade 2 SSJ Vegeta (Super Vegeta) being a seperate form contradicts that and yeah, it's true, but you have to also understand that Super Vegeta most liekly has much more content to go off of compared to Evo Vegeta, and has a much significant impact on the main story compared to Evo Vegeta.
Another thing to note is that it being a skill in itself in not necessarily a problem. The problem is how poor of a job they handled it being a skill as there's little to no model change and the duration is as short as ever.
If they can improve the model and SIGNIFICANTLY increase the duration of the skill, then at the very least, it'll redeem the form somewhat, similar to how theu handled rage trunks looking like a regualr ssj eather than his anime depiction.
I believe the issue ppl have is that it has always been depicted (in the games and anime) as a form separately, rather than a skill/technique like Kaioken.
In the end, they still have a lot of work to do and we shouldn't coddle them now, with the time left. Rather, be critical of the game (for e.g. Cyberpunk 2077) for it to be better than to coddle it (for e.g. Starfield)
P.S It could be me but maybe, just maybe, this could the manga version of blue evo where its depicted as a technique rather than a form and that the anime version could still be the 4th slot of Vegeta.
Its so amazing when a dedicated team developes a true to the anime and to the fans game! They make people happy! I haven’t felt so excited for a game in a long time !
I hope it's not just a few seconds of power up to be on the cover of the game with the other transformations and Goku having MUI as his own character as well it's only fair for Vegeta to have Vegeta SSBE to be his own as well, but most hints shows that it would be the case as SSB Vegeta has Final Explosion ultimate which is a SSBE ultimate
I mean that probably means MUI might be a transformation for regular UI like it is with blue and kaioken. Or both are they're on characters because they love to glaze Goku.

I’m one that personally likes this, just because evolved ssgss doesn’t really do anything, so keeping it as something more special in gameplay makes me enjoy it much more
Vegeta's Blue Evolution doesn't make him buff in the manga. They're probably following those properties. If you look at one of the color manga covers for the Granolah Arc, Vegeta is in his SSBE aura but he isn't buff.
Goku also has a form of "Kaioken Blue" in the manga versus Hit and in the TOP, but instead it's just a very enhanced Blue using Kaioken principles.
One thing I noticed is both SSBE with the bulk and Rage Trunk with the wider hair are on the book cover, so I still believe that they will both be full separate characters and transformations even though they have these boost to their prior forms

From what I can see from this footage, SSBE is a temporary power boost similar to SSB Kaioken
I’m just praying that ssbe is its own character and that’s blue vegeta just had it as a power up. Then again blue vegeta had final explosion as his ult. But evolution is even in the box cover art why would it be there if wasn’t its own thing.
I understand it’s equivalent to Goku blue kaioken but Kaioken is a technique evolution is a genuine transformation. Raging trunks is also in the box art and in the demo it’s trunks transformation. I’m going to believe mui goku is its own charater or a transformation why isn’t ssbe one.
Then again full power jiren is in the box art and he has no reason to be his own character. Still this is the only thing I’m disappointed at the moment

It's looking more like they're using the manga version of blue evolution rather than the anime, if this is truly what blue evolution is going to be like in the game (this is a demo afterall), cause in the manga Super Saiyan blue evolution isn't a separate transformation it's simply a PowerUp for perfected Super Saiyan blue

@@Steedoj I think they made it as a blast stock power up because, well, giving one to vegeta could be cool for one to mirror goku’s, but also just evolved blue not really doing anything besides explode and final flash, and at that point you may as well make it more special by turning it into a temporary power up. I never really liked evolved as a separate character, it takes away from the form just kinda being a tiny power up

the reason why blue evolution is blast stock move and not a transformation per se is because each character is limited to three transformations only. vegeta already had super saiyan, god, and blue
I like how the upgraded forms are utility move's, makes more since this way then giving them a whole transformation. If they structure transformation power ups like this..then it'd be cool to see *super kaioken.* I'm sure we'd get options to equip what utility skills are available for the character we use once unlocking more throughout the story or something.

From what I'm seeing, Blue Evolution lasts 15 seconds, giving better Auto Ki Regen, Speed, buffing Supers and reducing the speed charge and cost of normal and charged Ki Blasts. It does seem that using an Ultimate wears off BE right off the bat. The other buffs might be from Blue or another entirely different thing.
It's sad that Blue Kaioken and Vegeta Blue evolution it's just 15 seconds. 20 seconds is a minimum in my opinion to play with it, 15 seconds it's too short.
But I would prefer them to be turn ON and OFF at will, while active eating energy if you run out of energy they turn OFF, but if you manage to keep the energy then you can keep it for longer.
The same goes with SSJ3 Goku I think it should eat energy but give a nice boost. Just like Goku was saying in dragon ball Z that SSJ 3 cost a lot of energy so he can't keep it up for long time.

Goku is gonna gave 4 possibly 5 forms (depends on ui sign) but Vegeta doesn't have anything higher than evo (I am so confident that Manga forms and characters won't be in this game that I'm saying that he won't) so I'm not really sure why they felt like doing this (except maybe just wanting to keep more character slots free)

Makes you wonder if they'll do the same for characters like Frieza, Cell, and Jiren so that they won't have to make a separate character for Full Power. Its also possible that this will be tweaked in the final product to last longer as it seemed to run out extremely quickly

I don’t think it is ridiculous, it always seemed to me that ssjbe was a full power version of ssjb, ssjbkk goku and ssjbe vegeta as burst modes seem really cool since it allows you to be more thoughtful and strategic with those power ups.

Well Technically speaking Ui is very weird because its not a transformation entirely its more like a technique like kaioken we see goku use UI with SSG so I dont know it may just be another Super Goku where it shows Ultra Instinct sign as a skill and then MUI as a Form.

SSBE has to be its own character/transformation i dont see this as full on confirmation. Other wise it wouldn't be featured on the cover like MUI is, also the version on the cover looks completely different than in game. Kaioken is a technique so it makes more sense for it to be a skill.
We need a permanent SSB and permanent kaioken x20 goku for shits and giggles like BT4

If we get GT I could see SSJ4 Goku's 2nd B1 being FP ssj4 mode (tho I will miss the "I'll beat you in five seconds" skill, it was so cold and the damage buff it gave you was insane at the cost of lasting well, five seconds long)
Sword of hope Trunks maybe? I didn't look at any dbs Trunks gameplay but I could see that being a B1 buff (or Rage for that matter)

I think ultra instinct Goku should not be a character. He shouldn't even be a transformation. He should be a random transformation, like when Goku loses a fight, there's a very small chance he might transform to ultra instinct. It should be as a result of a tough fight that lasts upto a certain amount of time. When Goku gets defeated, the opponent player will be worried and hoping he doesn't go ultra instinct. Then it might happen. Goku turns ultra instinct. Extremely low health but very easy to dodge most attacks and deals massive damage. The combat might be made slow motion but UI Goku moving normal speed or even faster than normal. Able to easily see the opponents moves more easily and dodge his attacks. Except if he's fighting jiren, or whis or people of that caliber of strength
How this game is supposed to drop that early if sooo much is not done yet. Ki blast are way to small/thin, Kamera has few glitches, cheeracter get stuck, Transformations are unfinished so much stuff. I'm scared that this game will come out fully glitched

I think SSJ trunks / dyspo also will have these power ups/transformation esk forms thats how we get rage trunks and super speed dyspo especially since ssj trunks has the aura and all moves rage trunks should have nobody did the boost so we’ll see but that my opinion

I swear 90% of RUclipsrs that attended that Sparking Zero demo went in blind, chose Goku, Vegeta, Gogeta and or Broly, and called it a day, so few of them went in with any plan or idea of what to do, look for or try out.

15 seconds for 3 skills counts its is not long enough, its bad... skills needs to be much longer to be worth it, same with blue kaioken goku.

I mean considering in the anime it was shown that blue evolution is supposed to be equal to the kaioken blue It makes a lot of sense to me that both work exactly the same

I think it would be cooler as a full transformation too but maybe they are adding Ultra Ego (omega copium) since Vegeta has the exact same amount of transformation skills and the Blue Evolved power up skill is in the same place as Goku’s Kaioken, Goku’s only transformation left is UI so we’ll have to see if Vegeta gets a match to that

@Steedoj Yeah. I get that, but Ultra Ego it's too far in the manga to be part of the game. I see why blue kaioken it's a skill. But SSJBV it's vegeta "Transformation" in super. This feels like they took majin vegeta and made that form a skill, instead of a separate character
