Every move in Sparking Zero looks like it has actual impact. Xenoverse isn't bad but theres no comparison.
Yeah Sparking moves even in the demo are actually insanely impressive and Xenoverse 2 is 8 years old so it's gonna suffer but the old horse is still kicking

Sparking Zero’s moves just look so beautiful but that Xenoverse Sword of Hope is so unique so it’s mad hard to choose 😅
XV2 Sword of Hope is such a luck streak in design that I'm not sure if any Dragon Ball game will do it like that again 😭

The amount of detail from the battle damage to the environmental damage, to when goku goes ssj1 it takes to straight from the time he went ssj against frieza(and I mean the exact same animation). To the game actually being fuckin story driven and not, oh imma create a bum ass character that doesn’t even exist in dbz and spam blast attacks, and let’s take the story and completely ruin it. Yea xenoverse is washed up
The only credit I'll give Xenoverse 2 is that the giant blue explosion at the end of Stardust Breaker is looks really good (even if it's not accurate) and that Sword of Hope being a kind of pseudo-transformation for an ultimate attack is amazing.
3 major dislikes of Soarking Zero's Stardust Breaker:
1) the throwing pose is great but the whole visualization and simulation is broken when Gogeta literally slides backwards on one foot to go back to idle animation. They shouldve had him take a step forward instead of an awkward step back.
2) that ball of stardust just teleports instantly into death of Piccolo without even guving a chance to trule admire that rainbow ball! I understand Gogeta Blue could throw a baseball could probably throw a baseball (with zero friction) into the sun with little time, but still theres such thing as being able to dodge blasts or at least admire the graphics when thats is the reason Split Screen was reduced to one map.
3) i just love the Blue explosion. It looks more ki-based than a giant firery mushroom cloud that just disapears rather than disperses
I miss the event horizon effect from BT3 whenever a powerful beam hits. There's like this furnace that erupts across the horizon, and it looks really cool

Angry Kamehameha is so fucking good in Sparking Zero. The fact it goes from blue to yellow because of Goku’s sheer RAGE is just so peak.

I think from all the supers i've seen i think all of Gogeta's ults looked clean, God Goku, Goku SS angry kame, Broly SS, Krilin, God Vegeta, and 18s
This is a cool video idea! I am very glad you showcased the Super Kamehameha because I think that's an EXCELLENT example for Sparking! ZERO. SZ having unique animations for the same move being used by different characters/forms is awesome and shows that they've had a long time to work on the game. I think it's a good omen for how the game will turn out!

Sparking Zero simply has better animation/effect than Xenoverse 2
SZ ultimate is a cutscene like FighterZ where both players stop fighting and watch the ultimate play out. Bonus cutscene if the ultimate connected
XV2 ultimate happen in real time. One players in cutscene while other players can do whatever he wants. It's rare to have an ultimate where both players are locked in cutscene
Having more cinematic cutscene in XV2 is asking to get stamina broken. 6 players can fight at the same time, so they can't afford to have better visual than SZ which is 1v1.
that’s what i need people to understand, the game is “live action”. people want cinematic shit but majority of the time it’s horrible for gameplay.
Perfect analogy i can put for xenoverse is think of power ranger villains. in the show they let them morph and it takes like 10-20 seconds. If they realize that they can STILL MOVE and just starts beating their ass mid morphing its game over. think of how much free damage you can do in that amount of time on xv2😂😂
Personally I dont know how well this game will do in the long term for pvp, due to the fact of some of the moves are 10+ seconds of just cutscene. That sounds cool the 1st few times but after a month or 2 will it still be so cool?
Im not sure but i think most sparking gameplay has been pve and not pvp
They might turn that off fro pvp so you can actually counter of dodge ultimates
In kakarot story missions have a cutscene finish and random battles dont

for me the sparking zero version of stardust breaker is too quick it all happens in like a second where xenoverse takes its time and to show how cool it is

One thing I'm worried from what I seen so far from sparking zero demo gameplays is that the ultimate's damage input where it can reach 20000 above. They need to tone down the damage a little like 16535 at max, just like BT3. It's just my personal nitpicking though
They were playing with just three bars when the max is 7-8. An ultimate with 20k damage takes up 2 bars.
Mind you, you can dodge, counter or block ultimates, it’s not like they’ll successfully hit every time. Look at all the outliers instead of having tunnel vision.
The sparking Zero star dust breaker should just recolor the clouds from the explosion blue then it would literally look perfect
Id love if xenoverse and tenkaichi and kakarot would combine the best thing they created and get the perfect db game, open world, best combat system, customization and story trying to get anime with og soundtrack and not remix.

The Sparking Zero's impact moves are so impressive and beautiful there's nothing more to say about this however i don't like the smoke that emerges after the explosions That's the only thing that bothers me otherwise this game is excellent.
Xenoverse will always deserve a place in the heart of the Dragon Ball fandom. DBX3 Will be PEAK!

Sphere of Destruction is WAAAY better in Sparking Zero IMO. The effects in Sparking Zero are insane with the plasma pulsating from it, and the wind swirling around it. The embers flowing past Beerus as he prepares the beam.....Sparking Zero wins easy for me.
Sparking Zero's moves are all better. The only thing Xenoverse does better is Sword of Hope being usable, instead of just a cutscene. But Sword of Hope looks better in Sparking Zero, so...

Mhe, i wouldn't say Sparking Zero got inspired by XV, it's inspired in DBZ itself. It would need to be way more similar than that. Sparking does look way more faithful tho.

Honestly the issue with xv2 moves is that the effects and impact are not anywhere in comparison.
ESPECIALLY in pre DLC 13 characters. Most skills before Base Gogeta and Jiren's dlc just feels like it has next to no impact.
Thankfully DLC 13 and Beyond is fixing this. Though its still not comparable to SZ (especially since xv2 has been out for about 8 years and is still reusing 9 year old assets from the previous console gen)
The super kamehameha should be compared to FighterZ instead of XV2 because otherwise that’s coughing baby levels of fairness.

Honestly Xv2s doesnt even compare IMO. For one, the move is too damn fast to admire the dragon itself, and the impact is so quick and unceremonious considering that in the anime, the attack lasted SO damn long. SZ's isnt that long, but the dragon looks way better and the flaming aura that appears for the dragon.
Sparking zero is a anime but a game, it looks like the shows.
The gogeta stardust breaker move feels far more accurate in Xenoverse with the full technique from the movie being on display. In sparking it just feels like he’s using an incomplete move imo. Sure the graphics are pretty but xenoverse’s version feels more satisfying.
Yeah, the other ultimates, Sparking takes the cake no doubt. But God Punisher looks better in XV with the festival addition.
You Should Do DBZ Kakarot Vs Sparkling Zero

The issue with Xenoverse is that there is very little feeling of actual impact for both Ki attacks and normal punches and kicks,
Environmental destruction is also lacking in Xenoverse as things tend to be unbreakable or when they do break they break in whole regardless of the intensity of the attack be it a small spamable ki blast or an ultimate tier attack, There is also the effects each attack produce through impact or simply usage of the attack which quickly disipate and clear with no visual shaking or sound conveying the damage or effect.
Conclusion, Xenoverse 1 and 2 is a fun game to play but visually lacking on all fronts, it's an ugly looking game when you take into consideration that it's an eighth generation console game.
Trying to compare the two Super Kamehameha's is like trying to compare Taiketsu to Budokai 3 lol
sparking zero movement vs Xenoverse is a huge difference sparking zero charecters looks more fluid than in xenoverse everybody looks stiff almost doll like can't wait to get my hands on sparking Zero.

Sparking Zero’s environment is more interactive and destructible. The damage Ultimates cause sticks around throughout the whole battle. So yes, it feels as if they have more impact. Even a little child can understand that common sense.
Yes, an ultimate attack in Sparking Zero ranges from 10k-25k of damage, meaning it takes away a whole bar or two of health. On average in the demo, characters started with three bars of health. So if an attack can take up to two bars, you do the Math. I Despise people that purposely act like goofies. I can’t even say what I really want to say because RUclips’s going to deem my comment inappropriate.

To be honest, a lot of Sparking Zero's Super attack direct just seems to be particle effects, and by that I mean like, reliant on them. the fact that every beam ends in a boom when we've only seen blasts do that, and that they seem to really dislike multihits for some reason, kinda turns me off of a lot of moves.
This is gonna sound really controversial, but if XV2 had the same visual design as sparking zero, not even taking animation budget, just pure graphics, a lot of moves would look... better..

Yes absolutely. XV2 has many imperfections but it is still a really good game. Especially in recent years, it definitely has improved lots. Sparking Zero might be better overall, but as of now XV2 is the closest to a perfect DBZ game, and dang it, it's not that far off the mark from really being perfect. If only it could correct its horrendous graphics...
tbh, every move on the video looks better in sparking zero. The sphere of destruction has way better effects in sparking zero. I mean, it sounds like im overrating sparking zero attacks but its normal dude, we are comparing 2016 game vs 2024 game, obvisuly sparking zero is going to look better in everything. Anyways, the sword of hope looks kinda better in xenoverse. Sparking zero sword of hope is so simple, while in xenoverse 2 u can notice better the yellow effects of the sword than in sparking.

I believe that I may be the only one that thinks Sparking Zero looks horrible. They went full Dragon Ball Super with the art style. Almost every character looks like a 12 year old boy, they are all super skinny, and everything looks way too cartoony, the ki blasts and beam blasts look so off. They don't even feel powerful.
This is one of the worst looking DBZ games, not exactly because the graphics are bad, but because they did everything wrong with the artstyle.
Xenoverse 2 looks infinitely better than Sparking! Zero.
Especially the hair that looks like Sonic the hedgehog, spiky hair that tears your eye out, the bodies look like plastic, the colors of the characters all blurred, and the super attacks are poorly done, much better, very faithful to the anime without a doubt.

Even on ps2 the hair physics moved unlike stiff boring xenoverse. Tenkachi has always been the best and with sparking zero its no different. Sparking zero has the clothes moving and tearing again like old times, i could go on and on with, beam clashes, clashes, fusion, transformation, tournament, cell games,5v5,what if, stage destruction, red patora, training, etc but i wont do that.

sparking zero is just better than xenoverse in terms of the skills/moves since they didn't do the real time and its cinematic it looks fucking epic and have impact frames there is ZERO comparison between these 2 games like sparking zero blows xenoverse out of the water

Always thought that game looked absolutely abysmal, a huge step down from what came before.
This ks why i never really played it TBH. Only time i did was with friends. Never really got into ut myself. I was really waiting in another Budokai Tenkaichi and its finally here😂.
