I used to work out every single day then I moved to a new city 2 years ago and I’ve never been able to get back into my gym routine. I went a couple years doing a program with one rest day a week and my body started to feel it. Now that I’ve switched to taking the weekends off, my body feels so much better! Whitney I don’t think I’ve ever had someone impact my life as much as you have. Last year you really changed my life and helped me start my fitness journey which has now become my lifestyle. You not only helped me there but you showed me the impact mental health and self care towards that can affect your life. Thank you Whitney so much for being that catalyst in my life. I subscribed to Alive as soon as it came out. Back then, we had no idea the lockdown would hit and how our lives would turn around. I work in bars and I still don't have my job back. I couldn't subscribe again because I can't afford it right now but it's been THE BEST FITNESS APP I have ever used. Whitney and her team listens to our ideas and improves the app constantly. I can't wait to train with you again mama I MISS IT
I miss Alive. I'm currently on sick leave for burnout and need time to rest (I sleep around 10-12h per night and sometimes nap). I'm getting better and eventually will go back to Alive because I love it so much. In the meantime, I have a Whitney's voice in my head telling me to be kind to myself.

I always get this feeling if I take more than one consecutive rest day that all my progress will begin to reverse. I feel ashamed of and angry with myself, like I let myself down. I have the alive app but I’ve been hesitant on starting an actual program. Just reviewed my goals again and I think I’m ready for it!! This video inspired me to start alive 2.0. I’m found that going to the gym definitely feels like some really nice self care time. I’m just treating it like it’s brushing teeth or showering every day. It’s been a little tough learning at first but I’m getting the hang of it and the more I learn what to do at the gym the more excited I am to go. I think I still need to understand more about anatomy and what exactly I’m trying to target and what different things I can do to target. As of right now I am just doing what I know but your channel is helping me learn more so I appreciate that

Yep took myself off of zoloft and started weight training and it really helped with my mental and physical health.. I have always ate healthy and worked out but something happened to trigger my anxiety and I had a really bad anxiety attack so I started workingout because I really feel like the meds was making my anxiety worse.. It's been 3 years and never felt better🏋💪❤😊

I LOVE that you mentioned glute activation isn’t necessary because i have seen several fitness influencers say that was the only way to build glutes and i always felt like it didn’t help me at all. I started seeing progress when i started focusing more on compound movements, and for the longest I thought isolation exercises like for glute activation was the only way…

I subscribed to Alive as soon as it came out. Back then, we had no idea the lockdown would hit and how our lives would turn around. I work in bars and I still don't have my job back. I couldn't subscribe again because I can't afford it right now but it's been THE BEST FITNESS APP I have ever used. Whitney and her team listens to our ideas and improves the app constantly. I can't wait to train with you again mama I MISS IT
I miss Alive. I'm currently on sick leave for burnout and need time to rest (I sleep around 10-12h per night and sometimes nap). I'm getting better and eventually will go back to Alive because I love it so much. In the meantime, I have a Whitney's voice in my head telling me to be kind to myself.
I love that you did this!!! Also that you’re using your app!!! I feel like other influencers wouldn’t do this, because they wouldn’t want people to get “free” inside look. I was using the app for 4 weeks doing Alive 1.0. I had to cancel because my funds are low, but I can’t wait to get the app back and I will follow this in the meantime :) ❤️
I always get this feeling if I take more than one consecutive rest day that all my progress will begin to reverse. I feel ashamed of and angry with myself, like I let myself down. I’ve never heard anyone say it’s okay to take 2-3 rest days. Coming from you it was a huge relief to hear! Thanks a lot, Whitney! ❤️

I love that you’re hitting the heavy weights on the glute exercises! So many fitness influencers just promote bands and using these BS complex movements that don’t do much at all. This is real strength training 💪🏻💪🏻

I started the program and I really enjoy it I am a beginner doing it from home. I do not have all the gym equipment but I do improvise with what I have and still get a good work out. Thank you for being so kind an teaching a beginner like me.

I have the alive app but I’ve been hesitant on starting an actual program. Just reviewed my goals again and I think I’m ready for it!! This video inspired me to start alive 2.0. I’ve been just picking workouts here and there off the app but it’s so funny how the programs split was mine already. Can’t wait to see how this goes. Your app is so pretty and organized. I love the visuals, I love the timer, I LOVE the journal feature, and I like how you decide how you switch up your days. I prefer to have Saturday and Sunday and my rest days since I work on those two days. I love how it’s customizable to everyone’s personal needs!! EVERYONE NEEDS THE APP IN THEIR LIVESSSS
Love Alive!!!! On week six of Alive 2.0! Took a week off for the snow storm in Texas last week, so so so proud of myself for picking back off where I left off and not throwing away my progress. I am getting so strong!!!! The ability to track my weights is so so helpful

I’m found that going to the gym definitely feels like some really nice self care time. I’m just treating it like it’s brushing teeth or showering every day. It’s been a little tough learning at first but I’m getting the hang of it and the more I learn what to do at the gym the more excited I am to go. I think I still need to understand more about anatomy and what exactly I’m trying to target and what different things I can do to target. As of right now I am just doing what I know but your channel is helping me learn more so I appreciate that

Yep took myself off of zoloft and started weight training and it really helped with my mental and physical health.. I have always ate healthy and worked out but something happened to trigger my anxiety and I had a really bad anxiety attack so I started workingout because I really feel like the meds was making my anxiety worse.. It's been 3 years and never felt better🏋💪❤😊

I LOVE that you mentioned glute activation isn’t necessary because i have seen several fitness influencers say that was the only way to build glutes and i always felt like it didn’t help me at all. I started seeing progress when i started focusing more on compound movements, and for the longest I thought isolation exercises like for glute activation was the only way…
