I’ve tried all of these and it doesn’t work. I tried a vpn and it doesn’t work. I don’t have any wifi right now because we just moved and probably won’t get any anytime soon. But I can still send messages and call people, so I’m confused on how it could be damaged??

My dad took out the SIM card from my iPhone and tested it out on his unlocked 5c. I think my dad screwed up my SIM card.

Mine work for a few seconds then turn off

I put mine on airplane mode.
Took out SIM card
Turned phone off
Turned back on
Put back in SIM card
Turned off WiFi(bc it automatically came back on when I was in home)
Took off airplane mode
Tested it
Working

@@kirstenjadebriones5677 it will work on any model. Nothing will happen by doing this. It is easier than you think. Use something very small like a paper clip to take out your SIM card.

Thank you so much! I turned off “vpn” and then back on and it immediately fixed it! Yesterday I planned on running two errands kind of far away from my home and I couldn’t do my second errand without coming home first because I couldn’t use navigation and I couldn’t pull up an order number I needed in my email. It was so annoying! Can’t believe it was such a simple fix. 😂

OMG just resetting the nework setting on my iphone 8 plus straight talk (using verizon towers) worked! running on ios 14.2 ......I spent so much time on phones with techs for straight talk and your suggestion of resetting the network settings worked! TYSVM
