I can't believe that you see the main character and think "Oh, this is cool. The main character totally fits the setting and is SOOOO beautiful!".

I can't with the whole "TLOU2 failed" narrative. Based on what? You're feelings? It sold 10 million copies. It won numerous GOTY's. It's getting it's own season of prestige television. Keep crying about Joel dying, but by every metric, including audience support because believe it or not most people that played it liked it and aren't STILL crying on the internet about it over 4 YEARS LATER. If you didn't like it that's fine, people don't like all the same things, but to call one of the best games ever made a failure for no reason other than your feelings is ridiculous and embarrassing. Grow up.
10 million is an absolute failure for a game that’s predecessor sold 30 million plus.
TLOU2 is factually bad, story wise. There's no getting around that.
TLOU2 sold so well only because it's a popular IP. If this story was told in a different game, it would immediately flop. The average person doesn't know what he's buying before it's too late. A TON of fans were let down by TLOU2.
The story is one of the best stories ever written for video games. You're just too young or dumb to know that. Get off the internet for a bit and grow up.

And a ton of fans LOVED the game too, including me. We're just not out here crying years later. I could write an entire dissertation on how the story of this game reaches the heights of "A great American novel" like Gatsby or Catcher in the Rye. You can't tell me the whining about Intergalactic isn't the same losers still upset about TLOU2. Like I said earlier, GROW. UP.
