Thank you for the video. Would you mind sharing how you decided which hospital was the right place to be in as a consultant? Any examples of things you didn't know as a registrar that you feel comfortable sharing? How did you tackle these situations?
Hi. Thanks for your great video. Which radiology subspeciality in nhs has the least number of procedures involved?. I have been doing diagnostic radiology for the past 5 years and very few procedures. Is it possible i can get a radiologist job in nhs which involves doing diagnostic USG scans, and reporting CT,MR scan, Xrays reporting and no procedures.
Hey Dr. Savvy, really nice video! I was wondering if I can help you to edit your videos and create some highly engaging shorts out of them. Looking forward to hear from you. Thanks
Can you work from home as a radiologist (registrar or consultant)? I chatted to a radiologist a few months ago and she seemed to mainly review imaging, so she could do it from home. But your channel shows you doing a lot more procedures and imaging yourself (e.g. ultrasound). In the NHS, can you choose to do more reviews vs procedures, and can you work partly or fully from home?
You can certainly work from home as a Consultant, but much harder to do so as a registrar ( happened briefly during COVID, but didn't continue where I worked). Even so, most NHS employers wouldn't allow a full work from home setup and you would be required to do most of your sessions on site. In terms of actual work, not all radiologist do procedures but that would mostly depend on what subspecialty you decide to go into.
Thank you for these videos. So so helpful

Hi Zainab. Thanks for watching and the topic suggestion :). I'll make sure to cover that in a future video.
