Back in my single, broke days, my Aunt gave me some great advice: Always decorate for the holidays, even if it’s just a cheap kitchen towel. Put something out that let’s your mind know it’s a time for celebration. I immediately thought of her when I saw the small snowflake pots. You could have a small plant in your kitchen (or work desk!) and swap out the little planter for each season. Now I need to find one and send it to her. ❤

It is joyful to see many beautiful nativity scenes and Christ centred Christmas decor items, we are so short of it here in NZ and it brings me joy and encouragement seeing all of the lively and colourful displays. ❤ loved it ! Off to recreate it all now 😂 husband will be thrilled! - working Christmas displays must be the most fun!
Everything is looking wonderful for Christmas! It always amazes me how you all can take tables of merchandise and turn it into beautiful displays and not just placed on shelves. Once upon a time, as a kid I used to love decorating the tree, but hated it whenever it had to come down. Fast forward into my adulthood, by avoiding unnecessary changes in my life kept my moods on an even keel and keep seasonally affective disorder at bay, I have adopted the attitude of making my home cosy all year long, not just for Christmas (or Easter, etc). Unfortunately, because I value my mental health, people must think me a black sheep as I don't follow the herd. However, I enjoy all the creative things that you. GA contributes to me daily dose of the preventative medicine that I love... gardening!

@anitacox651 I live in Auckland, so The Gardens at East Manurewa, which are part of South Auckland, are lovely, and they also have a nice cafe. The Domain near Auckland Hospital and The Museum have some good green houses. Also, the botanical gardens further down the country in Hamilton are great. I'm sure there are more throughout the country. But those are the only ones I've been to. New Zealand has beautiful spots dotted all over. Enjoy!!

LOVE IT. I read about the history of the store and my favorite part is how long some of the employees have been there !!! Says VOLUMES about your family and the families before who ran it. Warms my heart.

I love the concentration on the rich green colors. The windows look great! I’d like to see those things light up and spin. Once those ( or even one) gets going, I’ll bet they fly outta the store. My favorite, though, is the velvets. Especially the royal blue of the pillow covers! Christmas will be here in a blink and I’m never ready!!! 🎄🎄🎄
I LOVE that darker color of green!! You guys always decorate so tastefully... never "gaudy"!! I could just take a slice from one of your displays and bring it to my house and have the perfect decorations!! Beautiful as always!!

I've had the pleasure of purchasing 3 of the felt owls about 3 years ago on the store website. I loved seeing them again today! I put them out every Christmas to enjoy in my woodland theme tree. Beautiful work and beautiful displays as always!
