This is a beautiful cover. I love the poetry at the introduction of the song, and how you changed the lyrics a bit. Not only did you enhanced the theme of the song, but you also made it very personable. To me this is how a cover should be. I aspire to make covers just like this. It just bothers me that I can’t play guitar as much as I’d like too. Since I’m working for the army as a mechanic; it’s always, “be a soldier first, and MOS second.” Hardly anything gets done in the motor pool with that mentality. I’m always tasked with pointless details, always updating paperwork, and constantly going back to medical to convince the system that something is legitimately wrong with me for years of service. So the blame is always on me for not having enough time, and I feel wrong when civilians thank me for my service. I just can’t wait to get out In a couple of months. It was a waste of time. With that being said; thank you for keeping the dream alive.

Like yourself, I like to see something a little bit different and personal in covers and tend to change the odd word or line - sometimes totally unintentionally - to do so. On other occasions - such as the version of 'Blowin In The Wind I uploaded as eternal sea - I just hear things differently in my head. I am glad you liked the small changes I made to 'Army Dreamers' but am sad to hear of your own unfortunate army situation. A lot of people have said that Kate Bush singing Army Dreamers is like the mother of the soldier singing about her son lost at war, the version sung by Chor Leone is like the soldiers singing while at war, and to me this version by Tom Grierson is like an Army Veteran singing about his lost comrades after the war. This is a beautiful cover. I love the poetry at the introduction of the song, and how you changed the lyrics a bit. Not only did you enhanced the theme of the song, but you also made it very personable. To me this is how a cover should be. I aspire to make covers just like this. It just bothers me that I can’t play guitar as much as I’d like too. Since I’m working for the army as a mechanic; it’s always, “be a soldier first, and MOS second.” Hardly anything gets done in the motor pool with that mentality. I’m always tasked with pointless details, always updating paperwork, and constantly going back to medical to convince the system that something is legitimately wrong with me for years of service. So the blame is always on me for not having enough time, and I feel wrong when civilians thank me for my service. I just can’t wait to get out In a couple of months. It was a waste of time. With that being said; thank you for keeping the dream alive.

A lot of people have said that Kate Bush singing Army Dreamers is like the mother of the soldier singing about her son lost at war, the version sung by Chor Leone is like the soldiers singing while at war, and to me this version by Tom Grierson is like an Army Veteran singing about his lost comrades after the war.

Just imagine if someone decided to make an edit with all the three of you together, that would be awesome!
