Before my journey to study in London in April 2019, I used to watch this channel. Good to see you Jess, I loved your content pre lockdown even though I live in London. Sorry to hear about your housing issues, I have never personally rented but I could imagine its quite expensive and a lot of landlords want their buck for offering poor quality property. Lets hope that we are over the worst of the pandemic and you can put some content out soon, in the pub of course!
Interesting Video, this is the 4th or 5th Video of yours I've watched, you seem to have quite an engaging personality. I agree with you about having your own space, I have just been enjoying my independence for the past 6 months or so. It is so much easier to organise yourself when you don't have the distraction of other well meaning (or not) people around you all the time. I actually had offers from two people I know wanting to stay with me and split the rent, but I chose to decline as it has been a dificult past 18mths and I felt I needed the space to gather my thoughts and make plans for the immediate future.
Interesting, somewhat happy to see you can still negotiate prices in London, here in Berlin you don't choose apartments, landlords choose you. You just apply to the very few available options and pray to be chosen
Congrats Jess! Hope you love your new flat! I hope you do some videos for people visiting London after the lockbox eases up. I'd love to know what to expect next year when I FINALLY get to take my trip!

Hello. Why did you choose East London? With your budget you should be able to get something in South West London (Wandsworth/Wimbledon/Richmond). There is lots of parks around which is great for lockdowns.
I've actually always lived in SW, for many years. It was fine for the time but generally speaking I don't really think it's very representative of what London is like. East London has tons more interesting things to do within walking distance (including incredible parks) and has a more diverse community which is something that's really important to me. Thanks so much for watching!
my ex left me because I wanted to move back to city if I needed to commute and did not want to do 1.5h commute one way. I am surprised your man was cool with it :D
Thanks for watching Shane! Because it was lockdown, I only traveled into London to do the flat viewings, but yes it was quite expensive to travel in from where I was!

I'll add it to the list! Thanks Timmy.
U definitely need security, to stop any weirdos entering the building that's non negotiable. Privacy also important, sure as hell don't need no stalkers etc. Best of luck in your endeavours and stay well and safe whether indoors or outdoors 👍
Thank you so so much for watching Lambchop ❤️ Stay well yourself!

I was thinking about moving to London from the us. Is it easy getting a job and a flat or a house?
I have lots of videos talking about all of these things, have a watch of those :)
Nice video! Thanks for that
Thank you for watching!
Hi Amazing! Love you're work and vlogs Australia
Thanks so much!
South west London is boringgggggggg. Plus it’s full of people scared of diversity. Also if your a worker that northern line commute is hideous.
my ex left me because I wanted to move back to city if I needed to commute and did not want to do 1.5h commute one way. I am surprised your man was cool with it :D
I don't live with a man, I live by myself.
thanks for video.Did you find that life outside of London was expensive for your travel into London?
Thanks for watching Shane! Because it was lockdown, I only traveled into London to do the flat viewings, but yes it was quite expensive to travel in from where I was!
I wish I still owned my townhouse in London, I would let you stay there for cheap. Thank you for your videos, they give me a little taste of the city I still miss.
Thanks for watching Richard, and for your nice words!
