Are there so few cards in standard magic that matter? Or are there so few games of consequence that the pool of win/loss and deck composition haven't yet played out to their true value? I feel that almost every game at the top level that I have watched use the same cards...
Did the block matter? He could just do that sequence before attacking, nothing the other guy could do with the rally reflectoer bouncing the blocker anyway?
+Johan Moisander I think he drew the Reflector Mage off of Jace, so he didn't have it in his hand to start, but I can't quite tell. I think he wanted to attack first and then Rally to get the cutthroat and Jace back to transform, or wait to transform and leave Jace as a blocker maybe?
+Jay Bieber I suppose, I mean with the falconers in play jace being a blocker didnt have much point but if he had chumped with one, he did have a chance to remove the other so I suppose his play may have been the more versatile. Knowing his draw, doing it precombat would have been a guaranteed win, but his play was more likely the correct one given his information. However the not blocking was a huge missplay, basically giving him the win, if Chapman had intended to actually block the precombat sequence might have had more merit.
+justin emery i wouldnt reccomend watching this if you are new to the game or are not familiar with most of the cards because you will get lost quickly in whats going on. Pros play pretty fast and its easy to get lost and overwhelmed. I would reccomend just playing at your local game store and talking to people to gain knowledge about the formats or cards and strategies.
Everytime the girl makes terrible commentary, Luis just humors it and recovers the commentary. It's great.

"He gets to not die this turn, which is huge because otherwise, he's probably just dead."
Wonderful, thank you for pointing that out haha
At 32:42 Cody Lingelbach didnt take damage from the fetch land.
Can we drop the 'crunch' and 'smash' and go back to attacking? Since that's the name of the step?

+Johan Moisander He didn't though, he declared the husk as an attacker. So even if bounced, the husk would have been "blocked"
+Jay Bieber yeah but he coulda done it for a guaranteed win before declaring right?
Before declaring attacker that is

keep the land you draw in your hand, when you had an empty hand... ugh.
only one thopter token available with the comentary coverage?
I cant wait until standard broadcasting isn't 25 out of 50 minutes fetching and shuffling :)
+Grothok Shmothok noticed that myself...starting to feel a little bit silly with how much shuffling and cutting there is.
The female commentator is terrible.
The multiverse is the province of men
+CiaoGalassia She's not so bad. As long as it's not Buehler on commentary it's not so bad.
+Dan Geraghty I agree she's not the best but it could be worse
+Dan Geraghty yeah that codger is a joke... someone who looks older than my dad commentating...lol
+CiaoGalassia I cant stand Rich Hagon
