As a die hard Amy Lee fan who really doesn't care for covers of her songs because its nearly impossible to top the passion and emotion that Amy has dripping in every note, I have to say this was done so well and I genuinely like it. Great job.

Glad to see you went for the "band version" instead of the album version.
I saw Evanescence perform the more aggressive version of this song live in concert back in 2003 - the first time they played the "band version" at a concert - and it was an absolutely amazing performance. Just Amy Lee and a keyboard singing to a practically dead-silent crowd until it was time for the rest of the band to crush the bridge to the instrumental. When they wrapped the song, it was silent in the venue for about ten eternally-long seconds while everyone processed the work of art they just experienced.
This cover brought back all my memories of that concert with Halocene's own work of art, and for that I thank you.
Band version is a truly phenomenal song.
This really does breath new life into this song. I had forgotten how hauntingly beautiful this song is, and you guys nail it. When Brad and Joe come in I totally didn't expect it, and it's just so good. The whole production is great. 10/10.

The fucking bridge gets me every time dude. The way you used distortion perfectly accentuated the emotion of the song and helped create a more grand crescendo for your performance.

God damn girl, that was fn amazing. I lost my daughter in a car accident in 2012 and this song was one of her favorites and every time I hear it I break down. You all crushed this and you absolutely have a new fan of you and your band. Thank you for this I loved it. Rock on!

This song is also iconic to me and came at the perfect time in my life as my mom passed away on 7/18/20.
When the original came out, my grandmother on my mother's side passed away and on the way to the funeral, this song was playing in my head from opening chord to the final note and during the bridge, my mom grabbed my hand and held it closer as if she heard the song in my head.
I will forever link this song to my mother's side of the family.

I lived in NLR and worked in Maumelle at The Monitor. John came in for just a quick question about subscriptions and said he'd be right bask later that day. When he returned, he brought the most stunning set of blue eyes with him (Amy). I had one of the most amazing conversations with her. I never crowded her and didn't push for an autograph...I let her be human. She stopped in once more before I moved to Ohio. I doubt she remembers me, but I will ALWAYS be a fan.
I was loving the buildup, with the black and white slowly turning into colour and then at the 3 minute mark I was blown away as it exploded into a brilliant climax. Well done with yet another brilliant cover!
And then fades back to grey at the end as the song winds down. I am always impressed by the production. It is always a perfect match to the music.

I love Evanescence a lot so I wasn't sure if I'd like this cover but the emotion in Addie's voice from the get go, and the guys work near the end makes it's as good as the original! Exceptional work, even got tears in my eyes. Well done Addie, Brad and Joe, bloody good job! 👏👏👏💯😍💜

So lemme just start by saying I'm a classically trained guitar player of nearly 20 years experience. I liked this cover but i felt that she was an octave down for most of the song and i played this video over top of both the recorded music video version and the live version from 2004 with 16M views. And all i have to say is wow. I have never been so wrong in my life. She went note for note in the same register as Amy for the majority of the song and only dropped an octave on the first "but you still have" but the "all of me" that followed was IDENTICAL as Amy as well as the outro "ooo's". I stand corrected and if i could give you a standing ovation i would, amazing cover and fantastic job matching one of the most amazing voices of our age note for note girl. Keep rockin.

They have the ability, the gift, of knowing when a song that they're covering can be improved upon, and when to stick mostly to the original bc it's just that damn good!!
