What you just described is exactly what I’m experiencing, and I’ve been in the ER three times in two days with Hypertensive Crisis; BP at 225/108. This occurs every 2 days, begins with very slight headache in the early am, then begins to ramp up throughout the day. I’ve been treated for chronic migraines for over 5 years, and I’ve always noticed that extremely high blood pressure coincides with the worst stage of the migraine. So here I am thinking it’s all migraine related, but now, the BP can go from my “good day” normal of 130/70 in the morning, to 180+ by 3pm like clockwork. Now there’s no severe migraine headache, but the BP pattern is the same? The Cardiologist is treating this as Essential Hypertension, but I argue that it’s secondary hypertension because I do have a few days of 120/65-130/70. I will be looking for a Endocrinologist next week, and hopefully the specialist will find why the dangerous BP spikes.

Hello Rachele :) Yes, I would practice as many NCLEX style questions in med surg as you can. Here is a video I made on how to study for med surg which may help you with the final because it gives tips on how to prep for exams. Here is the video: ruclips.net/video/tcpc0wBOjpI/видео.html
