Not fords fault they were stuck in a contract with navistar and had to make the trucks with them
@@twayland6186 not really navistar's fault either.. they were forced into compliance with all that emissions bullshit... getting rid of the emissions crap on that truck makes it pretty reliable.... I have a 2010 f250 diesel that is deleted with a mild tow tune.. runs great and plenty of power... no issues yet... i do plan to pull the heads and go through em before i have problems though.. or maybe a cummins swap... not sure what direction to take yet...
I'm 14 and bought one for $750 to use as a farm truck. regretting it everytime I turn the key
@@american_patriot1776 yeah there’s a reason you only got it for $750😂
@@butwere3-0wou yup. just got rid of the damn thing. now i have a 1990 f250 gasser and love it!
DOZER.!!!!!!! That's the 350s name for sure Matt or Ol' Dozer
Perfect!
Ya dozer
Sell it fast Matt. Get a 7.3 or 6.7 A lot of the 6.0 and 6.4 have problems.
That's the best advice ive heard all day
The 6.0 is a damn good motor once the weak points are corrected. 6.7s are extremely exspensive and a 7.3 will have way to many miles on it. 6.4 was a horrible buy but probably got it cheap as dirt.
Jonathon Bridges it’s 11 years old I know they have problems but everyone acts like they’re 3 month engine 🤷🏻♂️
@@jonathonbridges9625 that's very true. Though the 6.7 is more expensive you get more as well
agreed 7.3 wont die and 6.7 are doing way better than the 6.0 aslong if you can get it deleted
That beast of a truck should be called " The Bunker Buster " in line with Bunker Branding.
William Mudge def Bunker Buster.
I agree bunker buster
Glad you have deep pockets for dealing with that 6.4. I just got rid of mine this month and couldn't be happier.
"Timebomb" seems like sm appropriate name for a 6.4
Evan Griggs bingo that’s the name.
It's only a matter of time before one of the tubos blows in up in a Ford
We had a 6.0 and we towed a 15,000 pound tractor with a gooseneck trailer for 10 years and we only had one problem and it wasn’t even from towing the tractor and it had like 200,000 miles on it so that truck is fine so don’t be hard on fords.
@@jacksonarrowood9752 yea but a 6.4 is a different animal
@@jacksonarrowood9752 I'm not saying that all of them are bad I'm just a Dodge guy and I just don't really like them but they are good trucks I'm just one of those people that make fun of them just for fun
the Marauder. Also, sell that 6.4 we are doing you a favor.
Timber seven three of you want lots of tow ability. Built Six oh if you wanna go vroom vroom very fast
Should've went older with a 7.3
Hell yeah, I have a 99 F350 with a tune and exhaust and it pulls everything no problem
Or newer with a 6.7
99 F-250 7.3 about to roll over 400k and going strong
@@ddylla85 my 7.3L almost at half a million miles and just regular maintenance
hey Matt, I have a 2008 f250 with the 6.4 power stroke. the things I recommend for tuning are upgraded up pipes, egr delete, and dpf delete with whatever exhaust you choose and a mild 75 horse tune.
Just call her MERE! YOU SEEM TO REALLY FEAR HER!🤣😂🤯
Maria Dias I love that
Just gonna go take Mere for a spin.... Yeah idk about that
Yeah, it's her frequent "MUST I be the grownup?" look that reveals her inner thoughts.
Yes!
DPF delete. EGR cooler delete. Full exhaust and a tow tune. Maybe a compression test and stud it.
This is how we do! Like so Matt sees this!
Yes! He thinks that thing is powerful now.....
Yea, it may make more power but the 6.4 deleted and tuned are even more likely to explode
6.4 dear dawg, I wish u luck
Yeah boi
tip on the 6.4: sell it and buy a 6.7. you can't even get good parts for it anymore
Never was good parts, the 6.4 sucked a bit
A 6.7 is worse
Just get a durmax or Cummins
You know very little about diesels, obviously. You can get good engine parts for it from most aftermarket manufacturers. Carillo rods, CP pistons, manton pushrods, ect. Single turbo swap and a new waterpump is all ide change and they're good and make better reliable power.
@@OGskunkMASTA everything you just said is aftermarket. If you are trying to replace OEM parts, you cannot find reliable OEM parts anymore.
Atlas for sure! Perfect name
Name it Rex, you have the Raptor now you have a Rex.
Bigger and stronger than the Raptor
I like that
Everyone fears the t.rex-deadpool
Mike's Daily Gaming YES
Yes
But ram is making a truck called the trx to rival the raptor. And this is a ford so thats a bit ironic
“It’s just a work truck” - smooth tax write-off there man
The ultimate tow truck name would have to be Mater, Tow-Mater and the truck is already red.
Johnathan Martin tow mater was blue then rusty
I prefer the name “Fierce Ford”
Goliath, like from the Bible. He was like 10 ft tall and crazy strong. And straight pipe, tune, and leveling kit and 37s.
Defiantly Dozer in memory of him as he was also as strong as a bulldozer
HardyHouse_Productions definitely* and Dozer should have his own name and legacy ya know. Probably isn't the best to call a truck after a loved one
Regarding the 6.4L I have a 2009 with a little over 200K miles. I bought it bone stock with 100K miles. I immediately deleted the EGR and DPF and run a tuner on the completely stock tune and put a bullet proof oil cooler which is awesome for towing, and have not had any issues with it at all. Yes I agree lots of people have issues with them but if you do what I did it fixes a lot of the problems. Just my two cents:)
MATT!! Listen to this advice.. You might as well do what another guy said and name it Scrap!
Hopefully Matt follows suit and does the same
He'll probably do this but he won't tell us, might upset his environmentally friendly subscribers if he has any.
This needs more likes. I'd hate to see his truck die
U can’t Egr delete in Texas they have emissions inspections
"Dozer the Towzer" in memory of one of the goodest boys ever.
BigBoy.. My reason why. My Daddy had a 1969 Power Wagon when I was growing up, I named him and that name stuck, my cousin currently has possession of the truck. That monster has pulled so much, ppl out of ditches, trailers, itself out of mudholes. BigBoy was daddys daily driver for years till he full in love with the old RamChargers, then it became his hunting truck and winter truck for bad storms.
Name the truck The Bull. Put long horn horns on the grill guard
El toro
I say he names it oberst after the strongest man I the world
Name it dozer for sure in remembrance of man's best friend and it sounds cool
YES!!
IT HAS TO BE DOZER nothing less can be considered nothing #DOZERFORLIFE
Agree
Now we wanna see that thing towing the Bronco home😉
