      Everyone's symptoms are different it's good that you watch different videos. On my videos I went through the whole process. Dr Dan says just passed away last week, his were different too. He had stage 4 and lasted 4 years. Stay away from anything acidic, wine, etc. watch his last transmission wearing a white T-shirt. He was a great person. Yesterday he's family had his memorial. Sad.

      I'm sorry your brother is going through that and also for your situation. Here in Hawaii there is a program called MedQuest, that I applied for and was able to obtain free insurance through the state . Its basically Medicaid and I think due to my age and the fact I was unemployed at the time, I qualified. I dont know where you are located but it certainly wouldn't hurt to look into any programs that may be available to you. Believe me, I understand your predicament, I didnt have insurance for years since I was self employed, and was the main reason I didnt get checked out sooner. My thoughts and hopes are with you that you may get some help and move forward with some treatment.

    I wish I researched all of this last year. All of the symptoms you are telling us, is exactly my symptoms. Im 40. My doctors have told me im too young for colon cancer so I believed them. Until I started seeing these videos...dude, ive lost 35 pounds since last Sept and most of that is the past 4 months. My doctors still dont listen so last week, i sought out my own gastroenologist and he saw me yesterday and agreed I need a colonoscopy asap. I am paying for it myself since the VA cant do it until End of August. I cant wait that long. I pay $2500 and can have it done Tuessay also that includes endoscopy. My doctors are failing me. But seriously, everything you said to a T is what im currently going through the past 3 years. Thank you for sharing!

      I'm sorry to hear you are going through this brother. Your doctors were wrong for saying you're too young if you're having these symptoms, and should have ordered a colonoscopy for you. It's the food we eat, and I suggest at the very least to start eating healthier. Cut out sugars for sure, soda, fast foods, packaged meals etc. You gotta do your own research, and pay attention to everything you eat. Stay positive and I hope the colonoscopy gives you some answers soon. My prayers and thoughts are with you🙏

    My husband was just diagnosed. He’s the I’m fine type always. Now we have a stage 3B cancer. Thank you for sharing as the group of elderly is now very young who are not getting the attention they need until too late. Bless and prayers for a recovery. My husband’s mother was also very ill and passed away during this time which we contributed the symptoms to. Anemia is almost classic in colon cancer. Colonoscopies should be done at least every 5 years especially if risk factors are present.

      I'm so sorry about your Husband's diagnosis, but if it's any consolation, I am proof that that it's possible to overcome this and still have a life to look forward to. It has to start with a belief that he will beat the cancer as well as a desire and commitment to lifestyle and dietary changes that will help keep the cancer from coming back once he has defeated it. Stress and worry will not help in the least, so work at staying positive, lean on your faith and prayers, if you are so inclined. Also, don't rely on your doctor for everything, do your own research. Everyone is built differently and nobody knows you better than yourself and look to what you eat as the first step in getting better. Nature provides us with everything our bodies need and is always better than man made. Much love and luck to you and yours.

      I'm sorry to hear of your health issues and definitely encourage you to press forward and get that colonoscopy. Stress is so bad for us, I hope you can find a way to decompress when not at work. I would encourage some sort of meditation or breathing exercises to help calm yourself. look that up here on RUclips and see what might work for you. Worrying about anything can be so difficult but I would suggest to NOT worry about things too much until you find out what you are dealing with. Look at it like, if it is something serious like cancer, whatever it is that is causing these issues, it is what it is, and the only thing left to do is figure it out and take the necessary steps to overcome it. The doctors will only help you so much, the bulk of the healing will come from within you and starts with doing your own research and changing your diet and being aware of what you eat, or not eating enough of. Don't let life dictate circumstances to you, you must take control of your own situation. You can do it! Stay strong and be positive. Very first step......stop eating sugar. It weakens us and creates havoc with our moods. Much love and prayers for you and yours!

    I thought I had a virus and didn't listen to my wife when she told me to go to the doctor.
    Fortunately I did listen and eventually went to the doctor .
    Blood test proved I had very little red blood cells due to bleeding which didn't show in the toilet at all.
    Next day in hospital for a blood transfusion and vitamin b infusion .Scan and then a colonoscopy.
    I had a stage 3 C tumor in my right side colon and required a right hemicolectomy and 6 months of chemo .

      I'm so sorry for your loss, and I hope you find the strength to get checked on yourself. Time is of the essence and the sooner you know the better. There is no benefit in not knowing, and the stress of NOT knowing is worse than the possibility of cancer itself. I don't know what invasive test you are facing but if it helps to know, I just had a needle biopsy of a new lump in my belly that was discovered during my last CT scan. It is likely just a cyst that has developed by the scar tissue from my original surgery however the biopsy is just to make sure the cancer isn't returning. A needle biopsy is considered invasive because they stick a large needle in the lump and extract tissue, however, a small shot to numb the area beforehand makes the whole process very easy and painless. You may also want to inquire about a PET scan (I believe that is what it is called) which is similar to a CT scan and isn't invasive at all, and apparently very revealing. I'm not sure what you are dealing with yourself but I can't encourage you enough to get checked out sooner rather than later. I wish you the best and my prayers and thoughts are with you. Much love and hope to you.

      My surgeon suggested the PT scan to me but that would have required me to fly to another island (I live on Maui, and we dont have that equipment available here) and I didn't want to spend the time and money. It was quicker and more convenient to do the needle biopsy

    Bloating and thin stools. Also Dark blood can be from a tumor in the upper colon. My mom had that
    Beets and red veggies can cause cherry colored stool.

    • @paulonmaui382
      @paulonmaui382  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes, that is my understanding as well, although I never experienced the dark blood in m y stool. I believe that is usually an indication of internal bleeding somewhere in the digestive tract. The bleeding I experienced was mainly near the rectum and due to my Hemorrhoid, however the stool issues could probably be attributed to the blockage in my colon and the cancer disrupting proper function. Not everyone will have the same symptoms I suppose, these were just my experiences. As far as the Beets and red veggies, I read somewhere that about 18% of people will have that coloration issue with their stool and possibly their urine too. It is in of itself not to be something of concern. Thank you for your comment, I appreciate your input. Much love🙏

      IDK, I'm not a doctor but you may have just had some minor blockage or build up in your colon that eventually broke up and passed through? That in of itself, I'm sure is common and not a reason for concern. If problems persist or reoccur, from what I've researched, a colonoscopy seems to be the way most people find out for sure if there is any issues. It's a way of providing an actual visual look at what's inside your colon.

    Please don’t think that this mostly happens to older people. I see so many 20-30 year old men who are absolutely shocked that they are diagnosed with cancer and because they put off being checked out their cancer was advanced.
    I am 56 and put my mild symptoms down to diet but luckily I received a screening kit in the post from the nhs in the uk and my cancer journey began. My advice, try hard to keep a positive attitude, don’t Google or look too far ahead of each stage of your journey as you will end up worrying about things that are not part of your pathway and talking is good. The treatment I am getting is excellent and every step is explained thoroughly and then the decisions are mine to make. Plenty of help mentally is on offer too.

We are hitting it hard, I’m doing 2 chemo treatments along with immunotherapy every 3 weeks. I’m very fortunate and having minimal side effects from treatment. The worst of it being fatigue and some neuropathy in my fingertips and toes. My latest scan the tumor is down a little over 30%. Plan on kicking this thing’s a$$ 😉

    Thanks for the story. How was the chemo?

      Overall, the chemo wasn't too bad for me personally, but I was a lifelong heavy cannabis user, and I feel it was a big reason I didn't experience a lot of the nausea as bad as many do. there was some neuropathy that developed in my hands and feet but has since gone away. I've been meaning to do more videos about the surgery and subsequent recovery and chemo, hopefully soon. Thanks for commenting and Much love and good health to you🙏

    thanks for sharing your story.. I wish you all the best ..
    not experienced visible bleeding.as you.. I will test for occult blood tomorrow before my scheduled phonecall from doctor.
    I have had a constant bloating, gas, and weird looking stool for three weeks. Sometimes stool coming out looking "ok" but soft in the beginning and then followed by softer "borderline" diarre. (not always though).. but can't remenber when I last had a nice looking stool. My bowel emptying is though like clockwork... every morning i need to go..
    And the last three days a slight back pain..
    I have had more diarre the last 10 months than before... lost a little weight.(. hemoglobin looks good, had my blood checked 2 weeks ago). but they did not check for other cancer "markers". (Albumin should be checked).
    Stool has been constantly soft,, and now when you describe it, i do feel it looks like a lille mucus is present in the stool..
    I have not had major fatigue yet.. which correlates with good blood value..
    30 pounds is 14kg in. year.. how many percent did that correspond to.. it seems like a lot. Definately a red flag unless you did something drastic with you eating habits an exercise regime.
    I have lost 7 pounds in 6 months without trying.. in a year I have gone down from 34" semen to 32" semen..
    Doctor is updated ,,, earlier work 14 years ago puts me at risk (radioactivity towards to gut)..
    A small loss of weight without trying,, I have documented the shape and size of stool.,, (presence of mucus) , will do a FOBT test on the stool tomorrow, tell about an incident more than a year ago where i felt a sharp pain in the right side of the colon near the appendix or above it.. this pain went away within a day.. did not think more of it..
    again thanks for sharing.. wish you the best.

      Thank you for your commenting and i hope you get some answers and are able to find your way to better health. It is hard to say what was really going on with my body in regard to my weight loss. I was under a lot of stress taking care of my mother at the time and was not eating well and was quite depressed as well. I didn't have insurance at the time so I tried not to think about it and was just trying to get through life one day at a time. It is easy to say now that I should have gone to a doctor sooner but at the time it really wasn't an option. If you have the means, it is always a good idea to get the advice of a professional, then do as much research as you can. You know yourself and how you eat and live better than any doctor so you must be honest with yourself and give your doctor as much information as you can to help them help you. Best of luck, much love and prayers to you and yours.🙏

      I'm not really sure which side, it was very close to my rectum, and I had several inches of large intestine removed and now live with a colostomy bag. It was stage 3 but surgery and 5 months of chemo helped. Thank you for commenting and blessings and much love to you🙏

    Hi Paul,
    I live in South Africa. The sun is always shining here and there is always the risk of developing skin cancer if you have a light skin. I developed a growth on the lower eye lid of my right eye. I do not know if it is cancer or just a benign growth but I went on a high nutrition diet for about two months and the growth have shrunk noticeably.
    I would like to share the diet with you.
    The soup
    Ingredients: - two handfuls of Chopped broccoli, one chopped onion (purple), two bags of green tea, two pinches of mixed herbs, two sticks of cut celery, Two handfuls of frozen and crushed spinach or kale, half a table spoon of crushed garlic, Three shakes of black pepper, seven shakes of turmeric, two tablespoons full of apple cider vinegar (with the mother), one bag of white onion powder soup for flavour, a hand full of cooked red speckled beans and a handful of cooked mince meat.
    Just add all the ingredients in a pot, add boiling water and switch the stove on high till the water boils. Then lower the heat until the water simmer, Let the soup simmer for an hour. The soup is now ready.
    I would only drink water in the morning. At 12h00 I would start eating the soup. There will be about two helpings that you can eat in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. I also ate a fruit salad every day in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame.
    (Note: Apparently turmeric reduces the effect of some chemotherapy drugs and thus should not be taken during chemotherapy.)
    During the rest of the week I would also eat food that contains vitamin D like avocado’s, mushrooms, liver and eggs in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame.
    It seems to be working for me, maybe it will also work for you.
    I pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ that you will be healed. Amen.
    I would also like to share the following five videos with you about salvation and two videos about evolution:

    Look up Thomas seyfried about cancer. Cancer needs glucose or glutamine to reproduce. Stopping intake of them is key to beating this.

      Thank you for your comment. Yes I have cut back my carbohydrate intake considerably. Prior to Cancer, I had been dealing with depression and as a last ditch effort to avoid medication, I started eating healthier and cut out processed sugars (all soda's, flavored waters, candies, snacks, etc.) and fast foods, and was able to pull myself out of years of miserable mood swings. The only sugar I knowingly consume is organic honey and fresh fruits, which I don't eat too much of either. I stick with meat proteins and vegetables mostly and carbs, like pasta or bread, only as my occasional cheat meals. Sugar wreaks havoc on our bodies. It's absolutely terrible for us, and yes, Cancer feeds off it.

    Hi how long after colonoscopy did it take for them to confirm it was cancer? They found a mass and im waiting for biopsy result now. Prayers for you and your health 🙏🏼 ❤️

    • @paulonmaui382
      @paulonmaui382  6 месяцев назад +4

      I didn't have a biopsy for a little while actually. The initial colonoscopy revealed a major blockage in my large intestine and I was admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery to remove it the following week. Upon removal of that portion of colon, the samples were sent to the mainland (I am in Hawaii) and were determined to be cancerous a couple weeks later. I had stage 3 which means it had started to spread through the intestine walls into surrounding tissue. I hope your results are benign, and I suggest trying to not worry about it until you find out the results. The stress does not help so there's no point worrying until you know for sure. Prayers, good wishes, and much love to you and yours.

    Food is a big contributor to colon cancer. Eat whole foods not processed food. Did you have any stomach issues before the diagnosis?

    • @paulonmaui382
      @paulonmaui382  27 дней назад

      I'm guessing food is the main contributor, and yes, processed foods and sugars are terrible for us. I never experienced pains but loose stool and diarrhea/constipation were issues for years.

      It is hard to say, it has been a while and my bowel movements were loose for quite some time prior to my surgery and diagnosis. maybe you are experiencing swelling and inflammation on some days and not on others? In any case it certainly doesn't hurt to see a doctor if you are concerned and have the means. Do as much research online as you can, pay attention to what you have eaten on days when you have problems and learn about those foods. A doctor will only be able to tell you so much from a blood test and examination and will rely on you to be as honest and helpful as you can be. I hope you get checked out and I wish you the best of luck. Stay positive and proactive, and eat healthy and clean foods. Eliminate sugars and processed foods as much as you possibly can. Much love and prayers to you and yours🙏

    Colitis can cause mucous

    • @paulonmaui382
      @paulonmaui382  2 месяца назад +1

      I am not familiar with symptoms of colitis but mucous is ever-present in our digestive tract and is what facilitates the movement of stool through our intestines, it just shouldn't be visually noticeable in our bowel movements. Definite red flag.
