Okay so question for you, I have a different laser but is it the more power and more speed deeper the cut? Or opposite? I’m still trying to figure that out

it depends. typically if I want a deeper/darker engrave I either do a higher power/slower speed or a higher speed/lower power. Unfortunately there might be trial and error to get it dialed in.

Where did you buy your jig? I purchased one and it’s not the right shape. Thanks.

I traced mine on paper and scanned it to the computer and made it into a svg

Very cool! I was considering engraving some silicone bracelets (or possibly metal bands for the bracelet)for a non-profit. It's an ongoing project but rather low-volume. So, it's impossible to justify a $5k machine. Could Glowforge Spark handle that or is there another brand possibly. I suppose you get what you pay for so low cost may work but I'd sacrifice time (much slower) and detail??

I’m not sure if it would work or not. You would have to contact glowforge or check the specs on it. I would think it should though or a similar xtool machine
