As a nurse, it breaks my heart that you had this experience! I’m appalled that the consultant told you it was all in your head and was so patronising about it!! Also, Imogen please rewatch this video and listen to own advice. You have the kindest heart and it’s not right that you’re struggling! I’m rooting for you gal! You WILL get back to feeling 100% amazing again 🥰💕
I went through something very similar except it wasn’t physical pain it was my mental health. After years of being invalidated by pretty much every person that I opened up to, I decided to take things into my own hands. The nhs failed me, so I decided to get a formal diagnosis. It was the best £400 i’ve ever spent. At least now I know whats wrong with me and I can finally understand myself. Thank you so much for sharing :) Its through the good of people like imogen and her story times that we can feel like we’re not the only ones. I love our lil community where we can feel safe and all relate together ❤️
Me too! Even an hour before my surgery my surgeon said to me 'don't be disappointed when I don't find anything', he had to sheepishly tell me after he found endo everywhere. Sadly he did a bad job so I'm still waiting for a second surgery with a specialist. Hope you're doing okay from one (drugged up on morphine) endo sister to another! X
Hi imogen, I don't know if you'll ever see this and can only hope that you do! But I just want to let you know just how beautiful you are both inside and out. I have severe anxiety disorder and yet, your energy, personality, charisma and everything you bring to your videos and photos have be in complete bliss in that moment. I don't want you to listen to any words that aren't positive going forward, because I am telling you here and now, that you are beyond special. You have helped people in ways you'll never even know. Please go to bed knowing that you're many peoples light, and that's exactly why jealous people try to dim that light so that you don't shine brighter then them. Stay the you that you are, and all the brilliance that comes with you. So much love to you and Spencer and hope you are safe and well ❤
I love seeing you so bubbly and happy. You will get back to your old self. You say at the end 'whatever you're fighting you can get through this' - mental struggles are just the same. LOVE YOU! Xx
just looking at how good you was doing and how positive you were makes me smile so so much. i cannot wait till you find this part of you again, because it’s amazing seeing you being yourself xxxxx
You always look so beautiful hun! Thank You for sharing this with us all! I am sure this video will help so many people who suffer the same condition or maybe is investigating it! You are an absolute angel! So sorry you do suffer with this condition though hun! Chronic conditions are sometimes so awful to live with, I have endometriosis and I know how hard some days can be for me! Sending you a big virtual hug 💕
Always watch your videos as soon as I see them go up! I'm so glad you are starting to feel a bit better and have been uploading again. I'm sending all my love and positivity your way Angel. Alway remeber that rainbows can only exist if it rains🌈 🦋💕
Really needed to hear what you said about not caring about what other people think. I love you so much! You're amazing! Please never stop being you Imogen! 💕
I could watch you all day! I swear I go into a trance during your story times, when it ends I can’t believe it! You are amazing and in your words you can get through this! Love you xx
Always here for you Imogen, you’re amazing! I can relate to you so much, I have ulcerative colitis, your videos really help bring light into my life. I love you❤️
Thanks so much for being such an inspiration and sharing your story. I was dismissed by so many doctors who would listen to me talking for about 30 seconds about my debilitating symptoms before gaslighting me and saying it was all in my head. Luckily I'm a biology student so was able to use the knowledge from my studies to discover a condition called POTs, which I was then able to be tested and diagnosed with. If I hadn't taken my health into my own hands, I would be pretty much bedbound by now, instead of pretty much symptom free through simple lifestyle measures. This is not an isolated event, as you're story has shown too. Disgusting the damage people can do through not just admitting when they don't know something or being open minded enough to trust the individual who is seeking your help. Sending love to you and hope you can see how much of a positive influence you are having on those around you 💜
Oh imo I’m sending you so much love. You don’t even know how loved you are. We are with you along the way to get you back to this again. Sending a massive cuddle 💕💕
You’re helping so many people Imogen! I wanted to tell you that you inspire so many people! You’re so lovely and always want to please everyone! Btw I’ve been binging your whole channel in lockdown and you 👏 are 👏 getting 👏 me 👏 through gurrlll! Also where did your mock tail video go? I ADORED that vid 😍 love you ♥️x
Before I even watch this ... The last 2 years I have suffered from a stomach condition; so many times I was told “ it’s in your head” not only from practitioners but family and friends. It was so disheartening & the fact that those closest to me had no consideration to what I was going through, both emotionally and physically broke me. Thank you for sharing your story ! ❤️
i love you queen, the mocktail video was so good!, this serious makes me feel so not alone with my own stomach issues. you're an angel and i look up to you so much ❤️
Imogen you are strong and a positive person and I know what it like to have stomach problems because my dad has the same problem. Imogen what happened to you doesn't mean you should give up on the this you love I love your videos ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I don’t know how you got through all this hospital trauma you’re such an incredible person!! Love you loads and I hope your mental health recovery is still progressing. You’re an angel ❤️❤️❤️
my family always tells me that i'm a hypochondriac. but i'm constantly in so much pain. i have bad digestive problems, terrible back aches, i'm constantly dizzy and super weak, and i'm scared to eat because it always ends up hurting afterwards. i just wish people would listen to me.
alanariley same I’m just giving up at this point . My mum said to me the other day “ I don’t think there’s anything wrong with you “ so I don’t know what to do anymore part from deal with the pain cause that what I’ve been doing now for all most a year . No one ever listens. I hope it gets better for you though I wish you all best xx
Sorry I don't know you, but have you got your blood test done? I'm no Dr but I have low iron and vitamin D and I have the same symptoms. Maybe you should get it checked out?❤️
Please please please keep going. I’m not sure your age but keep making those doctor appointments, make sure they know how much it effects your day to day life. It’s such a long journey for diagnoses but it will be worth it! And people in these comment sections, including me are always here for support! I hope you get the answers you need 💜
I hope when you uploaded this you listened to what you were telling everyone about being strong and how the inside matters. You’re amazing and can get through this xx x

This storytime is so interesting! I do not have a stomach condition but it is so good to have a trustworthy source where you can get some knowledge and information from! And I love how you describe everything it makes it very relatable and understandable. Love love love❤
First off thank you for sharing your story. I have just watched part 1 through to 4 after seeing part 4 in my notifications and going through a similar experience. My story is no where near as painful or horrible as yours so far but I have been told it is all in my head. Been through the camera tests you were on about and I remembered the time I had one down my throat and my goodness me it was horrendous. I still to this day at the age of 21 have no diagnosis and IBS tablets did not work for me either. I get my pains very randomly and actually got sent to the GP from school back in year 10 or 11 because they thought I was having panic attacks due to anxiety and stress. I have been to so many people for advice but do not know what to do because I am so much better off than so many people in these comments. I just want to let you all know, if you are still reading this, that your pain is no less and if you do not think it is in your head then fight for it.
Thank you so much for this video. And all these videos. I love you so much! I found out I have gastritus about a year ago and had 3 really bad flare ups and was on pantepropazole and each time it was a 2 weeks solid just utter agony. Xx
I went through a very similar thing untill recently for the past year, I was throwing up and had really bad stomach pains after having a burning feeling in my stomach for MONTHS it’s taken a year after being on steroid medication and then being told it’s all in my head, turns out I have Crohn’s disease and they were telling me It was and then it wasn’t untill March this year I ended up in hospital again and then again 3 weeks later because of it for them to then now turn around and say definitely it’s Crohn’s disease and I need to go in a very intense treatment! Sometimes doctors don’t always know best they think they can feel what you’re feeling but they can’t! ❤️
this is the imogen we love to see! you happy makes us happy😘 i know it shouldn’t but listening to this makes me apprehensive about this illness, are there any causes i could prevent from doing or is it just rare that you can’t help. remember we love you imo 💜💜
I love imos videos so much, and her hair in this video looks amazing. as someone that suffers with anxiety her videos are so inspirational to see someone progress like her ❤️
Thank you sweetheart for still posting this. The first thing that struck me is whether retelling the “experience” has triggered PTSD? What you went through was horrendous and terrifying and confusing. I’m 45 and have had stomach issues for years and they’re are getting worse. My son has to be connected to a bowel flush ( mechanical enema) to empty his bowels. I recently got taken to hospital for severe pain, I hadn’t eaten for nearly a week.. I was told your bloods are fine, go home. I was devastated as I wanted to scream at the to help me but felt guilty due to Covid so dutifully left at 3am. That has impacted me mentally and physically. Please look into PTSD especially as its opinions that trigger you. That “Dr” who was in a position of trust gave you a very negative opinion and it may be a contributing factor. You’re real and you’re a warrior woman. Please don’t ever stop believing in yourself ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm a nurse and I am absolutely speechless to the fact they discharged you when you hadn't opened your bowels for over 2 months! I'm so shocked! It's disgraceful, that clearly something was not right! Even if it was "in your head", being constipated for over 2 months is so dangerous! Genuinely can't get my head around why they would do that 🤷🏼♀️
I went through the exact same thing. I was taking a mediation and had severe back/hip pain. Every time I stopped the mediation I had the pain go away. I told my doctors about it and they said because they hadn’t heard of it it must not be real. The doctor then said ‘are you sure that it isn’t in your head?’ I literally was like so surprised as I knew the pain and my body and there must of been something wrong. I literally did not sleep for two weeks at one point, because The pain was so bad. I also had the issue of not going to the toliet but only for around 2 weeks because of the pain and evenly had a laxative and managed to go. I ended up having a huge tumour in my spine and luckily had it removed. If the doctors had listened and looked into it , it could have been prevented. It’s so frustrating. I know how you feel! Hope you going ok xx
Watching this back makes me sad, I look so bubbly and happy here! THANKS FOR STICKING BY ME! I love you ❤️
Love you Imo so much xxxxxxx
I love you so much angel ❤️❤️❤️
You’ll get back to you, a little tlc & time 💗💗

I got told for 10 years the my pain was all in my head turned out it was endometriosis so I completely sympathise! Sending all the love 💜

I have a family history of Endo and every symptom that comes with it. It is agonising. But the doctors don’t want to do anything 😔

I just want to let you all know, if you are still reading this, that your pain is no less and if you do not think it is in your head then fight for it.
