You're a film major you should know that getting a good quality video isn't a new thing. It just cost more back then. Now you can use a phone. We shot on film. Digital didn't take over until like 2013. Film will always be clear. Look up "Jimi Hendrix on acoustic guitar". You'll see a very clear video and he died in 1970.
